Hello, This is Himanshu Rathore. I've completed my BTech CSE from LPU in 2021. LPU has helpful and generous faculty members. The B.Tech CSE faculty is highly qualified and dedicated towards students.
The department faculty is friendly and willing to engage with students. They put great emphasis on practical learning and share their own experiences while teaching. The CSE curriculum matches the academic standards of other well reputed Universities.
I am not aware of the exact faculty to student ratio at the CSE department, but I can assure you that there is ample staff for the branch. Mr. Kundan Munjal is one of the faculty members. He teaches Theory of Automata, Mr Anurag Singh Tomar teaches Computer Networking, Mr. Krishan Bansal teaches AI and Mobile Computing, and Mrs. Anjali Verma teaches Compiler Design.
These are some really good teachers and mentors from the B.Tech CSE branch. They are very helpful towards their students, and they offer valuable career advice apart from teaching so well.
All my teachers at the department have been very supportive. I firmly can say that LPU has some of the best teachers for BTech CSE.
I am a B.Tech CSE student at LPU. I joined the university in 2022, and since then, have been living in the university hostel.
At LPU, there are 17 multi-story hostels (including the luxury apartments). Each hostel has its separate entrance and exit, a mess, a tuck shop, wardens and maintenance staff. The LPU campus has all the amenities within itself, so hostellers need not step outside the campus for anything.
Here are the facilities offered in the LPU hostel rooms, on the basis of the two categories into which they are divided-

I am a former student at LPU. The university offers both merit-based and entrance-based admissions to its courses.
For MBA, the university considered the scores of various management entrance exams to shortlist the eligible candidates. CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ CMAT/ NMAT are the most popular entrance exams accepted at LPU. Apart from these, the university considers LPUNEST score for admission into MBA.
LPUNEST is the university level entrance exam conducted by LPU every year for selection into its various courses. Apart from the entrance scores, for certain MBA specializations the candidates may be required to have prior work experience in the same field. For example, if a candidate wishes to opt for MBA HRM/MBA Finance at LPU, they may be required to have min. 2 years of work experience in the same field.
I completed MBA International Business from LPU. The university offers an MBA and MBA (Hons) in various specializations. MBA admissions are mostly entrance-based.
For admission into MBA at LPU, one needs to fulfill the minimum eligibility requirements. These are-

I completed my B.Tech CSE from LPU in 2016. The B.Tech CSE placements at LPU are good.
The University has a separate placement cell which is operated by mentors who are responsible to train students for placement interviews. This placement training starts in the final year of graduation and includes lessons on technical skill development, resume building, interview preparation, and soft skills training.
These mentors connect the students with national and international IT companies for placements. The BTech placement process involves various stages including the pre-placement talks, written tests, technical interviews, GD and PI.
The placement drive for BTech courses starts in the final year. The recruiting companies visit the college campus during 5th semester. LPU has recorded 90% placements in recent years. A BTech CSE student was offered INR 52.08 LPA by Microsoft. B.Tech Mechanical was offered a package of INR 54.9 LPA. Amazon, Cognizant, Infosys, Adobe, Microsoft, etc. are some of the top companies that participate in the LPU placements.
I was introduced to LPU by my friend’s son while searching for a good BSc. Agriculture college for my own son. My Friend’s son has studied Bsc (Agriculture) at LPU. LPU is a private university with an ICAR Accreditation.
The university has well equipped laboratories, library, lecture rooms and a farm to conduct agricultural experiments. The course curriculum revolves around the latest developments in agriculture, disease resistance, fertilizers and insecticides. The curriculum includes fieldwork and field trips.
The university provides good internship and placement support to BSc Agriculture students. Syngenta, Bioseed, Smur Agro, Kandhari Beverages, Mahindra Agri Solutions, etc. are some top companies where LPU students are selected for Internships with average stipend between INR 9,000 - 15,000 monthly. Agriculture students at LPU organize several eco-friendly awareness programs and sometimes the University arranges educational tours and industrial visits. The average CTC package offered at LPU can range anywhere between INR 3.50 - 8 LPA.
57% are placed, with the maximum going INR 7 LPA and minimum INR 1.75 LPA. Many students take part in internships, mostly going for court internships and corporate. Legal associate, IPR lawyer, and legal manager are some of the top positions in which the students get hired.
As per the latest report, a total of 1,057 recruiters participated during LPU placements in 2023 and offered 6,645 job offers to the students till May 2023. The LPU highest package offered during the 2023 placement drive stood at INR 54.75 LPA.
LPU offers BBA in General, Tourism and Hospitality, Financial Markets, Business Analytics, International Finance, Airlines and Airport Management, and Information Technology. It also offers BBA (Hons.), Integrated BBA-MBA, and BBA (2+2 International Credit Transfer Option).
