Which is better between Sharda University and GL Bajaj for a B.Tech?
A few of my friends graduated from Sharda University and G. L. Bajaj. Here is some information about these universities that might help you know about them a bit better. Both the colleges are good but there are some pros and cons.
- If you are looking for a life similar to school-life where you have to wear uniforms and attend classes till 5 'O'clock then you can choose G.L Bajaj.
- The curriculum is strict at GL Bajaj whereas, in Sharda University, the lifestyle is more lenient.
- At Sharda more opportunities are provided to those who have the potential or interest. A number of events and extracurricular activities are organized. The best faculties from IIT’s and other fields.

It is suggested that you go for Sharda University as it is much better than G. L. Bajaj. However, ultimately it is your decision. .
How is PTU Jalandhar for a B.Tech?
One of my friends was admitted to PTU and does not recommend its B.tech course. The quality of education is below-average and you won't learn much from the university. The placement scenario is pathetic and more than 30% of the students remain unplaced. The highest salary package offered is 6 LPA and the top recruiters include Wipro, Tech Mahindra, HCL, etc. Students get placed in minor roles in software companies.
The infrastructure however isn't that bad and the college has decent lab facilities and a well-stocked library. The hostel facilities are also decent and the food served is good.
Unless you are satisfied with a low package below INR 10 LPA, it's better to look for a better college.
What should I choose. 1. CSE Jadavpur University 2. B.Tech + M.Tech dual degree CSE @ IIEST, Shibpur 3. CSE @ NIT Durgapur?
First of all, never compare Jadavpur University with NIT Durgapur for the Engineering stream. Second important thing is, people usually prefer B.Tech and M.Tech students over the one who has opted for Dual degree program. The reason for this is dual degree programs are not valuable in industry or research.
Talking particularly about CSE, Jadavpur University is quite good and even better than the new IITs and most of the NITs. Among the given options, CSE at Jadavpur University is the best option to opt for. You will enjoy your studies here. You will have a good range of research projects. You will get abundant internship opportunities from here. Although placements at JU are not as great as compared to IITs, NITs, BITS, and IIITs.
Is biological engineering at IIT Madras good enough to be happy about?
The department of Biological Engineering at IIT Madras is located in the newly built building of the institute and thus has world-class infrastructure and facilities.
Despite mediocre placements, this placement is best suited for those keen to pursue this field sincerely and has some of the most learned professors in the institute. The well-structured curriculum of the department makes the students capable enough to avail higher study opportunities at foreign universities. The course also provides a semester exchange program.
Only a few core companies offer jobs in the biological department but students rarely go unplaced due to the abundant non-core job offers. You can get jobs in any sector of IT/Finance/Consultancy even if you belong to the Biological department. This is the best part of IITs. The job prospects are not limited to the branch and you can explore various sectors and opportunities are in plenty. So, this department is not a bad choice and can offer you the best opportunities.

The admission process of Dayalbagh Educational Institute is quite simple. You will need to go to the admission portal on the official website. Provide the required details and select the course that you want to apply to. If you are eligible you will receive an update regarding the interview dates.
You will be shortlisted based on your marit. They will evaluate you based on your JEE score, 10+2 score, extra-curricular activities, and performance in the interview.
If you score well, you will be invited to the counseling session. Where you can choose your preferred branch.
Which is better for engineering MJPRU or AKTU?
AKTU is better for Engineering. For technical courses, it is among the top institutes in Uttar Pradesh. AKTU has an excellent faculty pool. The faculties are alumni of institutes like KNIT, IET, etc. The course curriculum and programs are well-designed according to the industry trends.
Engineering students need different kinds of environments for exposure. AKTU offers exactly that. There are various clubs, student councils, technical and non-technical forums, that you can opt for. AKTU placements are excellent. Students usually receive an average CTC of around INR 6 LPA. While the highest CTC goes up to INR 14 LPA.
Is Sanskriti University good for a B.Tech?
Yes, Sanskriti University is one of the best engineering colleges in Northern India. It is very much popular among students for its B.Tech course.

- They are highly experienced in their dedicated fields.
- They make sure that the students are industry-ready, and with the help of the knowledge provided.
Therefore, Sanskriti University is a really good option for pursuing a B.Tech degree.
What is the scope of IIIT Allahabad 5-year courses?
A few of my friends are alumni from IIIT Allahabad. The scope of the Dual Degree BTech + MTech course is good.
- For the first 3 years of the course, the curriculum is exactly the same. All the students (Dual Degree as well as BTech) attend the same classes, sit for the same exams, get the same results together. However, from the fourth year onwards, the specialization courses start.
- Once you complete the dual degree course, you will be eligible to sit for the same placement rounds as BTech guys. The results of which depend entirely on your knowledge & skills you have acquired during last 4-5 years.
- However, Dual Degrees will especially help you if you are interested in R&D areas.
The only reason that the cutoff is a little bit lower for Dual Degree courses is that many of you might be hesitant to spend one extra year in college. But for a college like IIIT Allahabad, it is worth spending an extra year. Sadly, in 2018 the 5-year dual degree courses were disbanded due to some administrative instability.
Why are the placements at IIT Patna better than that at IIT Bombay?
I don’t think the right information has reached you yet. In no way are the placements at IIT Patna better than IIT Bombay. Moreover, IIT Patna lacks opportunities in general while IIT Bombay has a plethora of opportunities apart from spectacular placements.
