I was introduced to LPU by my elder sister. After checking the necessary details about the University like Fee Structure, Exams, Admission Process, ROI (Return of Investment) and Placements, etc. I took admission at LPU.
LPU is well renowned for its BTech and MBA courses. It offers MBA in 20+ specializations. The most popular these specializations are- HR, Marketing, Finance, Operations, Business Analytics, etc.
I have opted for Finance with Marketing. LPU allows students to opt for dual specialization or super specialization. In this, a student can opt for a minor and a major subject. As for the academic exam structure, the university follows the same pattern as top MBA colleges in India. The MBA exams are conducted semester wise.
I would suggest you consult the MBA faculty members for more details on the semester-wise MBA exam structure at LPU.
According to me, you should consider the LPU official website for information about the specific MTech program. It is the most comprehensive site with all the details which I find very helpful during my time of admission. Also, it is updated regularly with the latest information providing aspirants like you with the academic data.
You can find information about the various MTech programs, their specialisations, curriculum, faculties and admission requirements. The MTech program page is designed in a way to provide visitors with all the required information easily. The MTech course pages have tabs for different sections like fee, curriculum, placements and more that you can click and you will be directed to that specific information. If you require further assistance, you can also contact the admission cell through their email or phone number which is provided on the LPU website.
There is no dress code for MTech students at LPU. Students are allowed to wear whatever they want until it is decent. Students are expected to dress modestly and respect cultural norms.
Yes, LPU tries to cater to the diverse interests of MTech students through various clubs and organisations covering different topics. LPU has more than 350 student organisations in 18+ categories providing holistic development among students. These organisations have more than 10,000 active members and conduct around 500 events every year.
As per the experience of my seniors, LPU provides their MTech students with good research and internship opportunities. Apart from internships, LPU also offers MTech students the chance to work directly in the industry through industry projects.
LPU has partnerships with more than 2500 companies in India and abroad to facilitate research opportunities and internships for students. MTech students can pursue research projects under the guidance of experienced faculty members or can work at leading institutes through LPU’s extensive industry connections.
As MTech is a technical course, LPU students are required to undergo practical training in laboratories. LPU strongly believes in laboratory sessions and practical training and has well-equipped laboratories.
Practicals are an important component of MTech courses that allow students to learn the real-world use and impact of various course aspects. LPU has laboratories with modern infrastructure tailored to each specialisation of the MTech course.
Additionally, the university also collaborates with companies to offer internships and industry projects for students.
