I am also an MBA student. If you have a bachelor’s degree in any discipline or its equivalent with at least 60% aggregate marks then you are eligible for the MBA course at BITS Pilani. Also, you need proof of at least one subject in mathematics or statistics at the high school (10+2) or higher level. If you are studying in the final year of the bachelor’s program then you are eligible for the exam. You need to qualify for the BAAT exam/ CAT/ XAT. Personal Interviews + Past Academic Performance is part of the selection process for the MBA course at BITS Pilani.

Aspirants must qualify for the BITSAT exam for admission in the BE hons course at BITS Pilani. To appear in the BITSAT exam candidates must meet the required eligibility criteria. The eligibility criteria for the BE Hons course at BITS Pilani is candidates must pass class 12th from a recognised university with a minimum of 75% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics and appropriate marks in English subjects and at least 60% marks in each of the Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics / Biology subjects.

I was introduced to LPU by my elder sister. After checking the necessary details about the University like Fee Structure, Exams, Admission Process, ROI (Return of Investment) and Placements, etc. I took admission at LPU.

LPU is well renowned for its BTech and MBA courses. It offers MBA in 20+ specializations. The most popular these specializations are- HR, Marketing, Finance, Operations, Business Analytics, etc. 

I have opted for Finance with Marketing. LPU allows students to opt for dual specialization or super specialization. In this, a student can opt for a minor and a major subject. As for the academic exam structure, the university follows the same pattern as top MBA colleges in India. The MBA exams are conducted semester wise.

There is no dress code for MTech students at LPU. Students are allowed to wear whatever they want until it is decent. Students are expected to dress modestly and respect cultural norms. 

• During the soft skills classes from the first year onwards, students have to wear formals which can be purchased from the university store. 
• During laboratory sessions, they are expected to wear laboratory attire like lab coats and shoes as preventive measures. 
• LPU is very strict regarding dress during the placements and students must be well groomed and follow the dress code. For boys, it is a white shirt, black pants, a blazer, black shoes and a tie. 

• If you fail the MTech exam, you will be given three attempts to clear the backlog. If you manage to pass on the first attempt, your passing marks will be recorded otherwise you can move forward with the second or third attempt if necessary. 
• The University Management System (UMS) is responsible for conducting reappear exams. It generally takes place 10 to 15 days after the release of marks/results. 
• Reappearing exam notification is released by UMS. You will be required to fill out the reappearing exam form for the subject you want to reappear in. 
• The university may also ask you to completely re-enroll in the course if needed.

Yes, LPU tries to cater to the diverse interests of MTech students through various clubs and organisations covering different topics. LPU has more than 350 student organisations in 18+ categories providing holistic development among students. These organisations have more than 10,000 active members and conduct around 500 events every year.

• One such club is the IEEE Student Branch. It provides MTech students with workshops, competitions and seminars related to their interests. 
• There are also clubs for psychoneurobics and software website and app development that may provide MTech students with the opportunity to engage in extracurricular activities and also develop network and collaboration opportunities at the same time.

As per the experience of my seniors, LPU provides their MTech students with good research and internship opportunities. Apart from internships, LPU also offers MTech students the chance to work directly in the industry through industry projects. 

LPU has partnerships with more than 2500 companies in India and abroad to facilitate research opportunities and internships for students. MTech students can pursue research projects under the guidance of experienced faculty members or can work at leading institutes through LPU’s extensive industry connections. 

As MTech is a technical course, LPU students are required to undergo practical training in laboratories. LPU strongly believes in laboratory sessions and practical training and has well-equipped laboratories.
