Yes, your scholarship will be valid for the whole course. LPU provides scholarships to students with good merit scores for the whole course period, unlike some other colleges that only provide scholarships for just one year.
The scholarship is applicable for the complete course but some factors can lead to students losing the scholarship. This depends on factors like maintaining the academics and other conditions set by the university. Poor academic performance and disciplinary action can lead students to lose their scholarships.

Hello, this is Abhishek, a BTech CSE graduate from LPU. I got to know about LPU through my friends. The University has good academics and placement records. For my batch, LPU recorded 85% placements.
My friend has chosen BTech IT at LPU, and he has had a good experience regarding placements. LPU offers Placement training to all BTech streams. The university has a separate placement cell which trains students.
As a CSE student, I was part of the same training sessions as my friend in BTech IT. The strong alumni network of LPU provides important guidance and support to the students. LPU attracts several top-notch recruiting companies and IT giants like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, IBM, Microsoft, etc. for IT placements.
The IT placements are quite decent at LPU, and the authorities make every possible effort to provide support and guidance to the students.
There are lots of benefits of pursuing Higher Education from LPU.
LPU is a private University in India. It offers numerous courses in various streams.
These initiatives help prepare students for the workforce. LPU puts a strong emphasis on skill development through workshops, certificates, and training courses. Also, LPU offers some dual degree programs like BBA LLB, etc. and dual specializations courses like MBA in HRM & Marketing, etc. That helps students get a realistic experience while they are learning master courses.
Other than all this, LPU has more than 2500 International students. Additionally, the university offers several Student Exchange programs. High payable Scholarships and financial aid are also available for LPU students.
I have completed my graduation from LPU a long time ago. The Lovely Professional University National Eligibility and Scholarship Test (LPUNEST) is the entrance exam conducted by LPU for admission to its various programs.
One should know very well what their interests and goals are. Through LPUNEST the University shortlists students for different courses. LPU offers a wide range of academic courses, this is why students should know the course they are interested in and apply for LPUNEST accordingly. LPUNEST also serves as a scholarship test, and candidates wishing to get scholarships are advised to qualify LPUNEST.
LPU offers scholarships to meritorious students based on their performance in LPUNEST. Hence, for candidates who need financial assistance, LPUNEST is an important test. Regarding whether the preparation for LPUNEST is worth it. LPUNEST contains questions related to reasoning, verbal ability, analytical ability, etc. It is an MCQ based online test, and that's why I personally recommended LPUNEST.
LPUNEST is easy compared to various other entrance exams like CAT, MAT, XAT, etc. Without an entrance exam, it is very tough to get admission into some courses at LPU, hence it is advisable from my side to qualify LPUNEST before admission.
As an LPU student, I would like to answer this question for you. I have completed an MBA from Lovely Professional University in 2021. There are no dress codes in LPU for MBA. Students can wear anything they like to wear, but it should be decent.
For the classroom, one can easily walk into the University in any kind of decent dress. However, there are dress codes for certain situations. For example, when the university conducts a seminar or an event, it is a must for both male and female students to wear formals.
Students are expected to take care of modesty, for example, they must not wear bathroom slippers or flip flops in the department. LPU also trains students for placement interviews where it is mandatory that they wear formals- a formal shirt, pants, leather shoes, a tie, and a leather belt. Students are supposed to be well groomed for the training sessions. This includes facial grooming (clean shaven/well trimmed facial hair for guys) as well as personal.
There is no uniform system at LPU, even for MBA students.
I completed my BCA from LPU in 2019. LPU class timings depend upon various factors. The classes take place between 8 am - 6 pm (the time-slot depends upon the stream chosen). Furthermore, some days the classes are 4 hours long, and some days they can even be 6 hours long. There will be a Saturday off in each month which depends upon course and stream.
In general, UG programs usually have 5-6 classes per day, 1 class of 50 minutes or more. There is a 1 hour break every day and sometimes students especially in Science stream have an extra 1 hour class for practicals. The total number of hours ranges between 30 - 35 hours depending upon the courses and semesters.
The classes will be held between Monday to Saturday. The best thing which I really like about LPU is that classes will never be canceled, unless there’s some strong reason for it. If the teacher is absent on a working day, the classes will not be canceled.
The same class will be rescheduled on another day. This is what LPU calls make up or adjustment of the classes. LPU provides their schedule on their web portal, as well as their App.
In case of any issue or query, just visit the University’s Official Website or contact your Department. You can reach out to the University’s Administration Office/ the Student Services as well.
I am currently pursuing a Masters’ in Psychology from LPU. Pursuing MA Psychology at LPU is a good decision, and I have plenty of reasons to support my answer.
A Psychology course at LPU brings lots of benefits-
Hence, MA Psychology in LPU is a good idea.
Yes, there is a fresher party at LPU, but it is not organized by LPU itself. The Division of Student Association and the Division of Student Welfare both are responsible for organizing fresher parties at LPU. This party is supervised by the head of a particular department and seniors take care of all the things.
I've completed MBA HRM and Marketing from LPU. I was in the organizing committee of the freshers’ party that our batch gave to our immediate juniors. The seniors organize a party in two batches (North and South) and it is up to the freshers’ to join either.
Since LPU does not officially organize the fresher party, seniors have to choose to either celebrate at the campus or a club/venue. The other such event I enjoyed after admission into LPU was a Hostelers’ party. This party is for the hostel students, both girls and boys. To join a freshers’ party you need to pay a charge which can be anywhere between INR 500 - 1500 per head. Also, there are competitions like Mr. & Miss Fresher, games and dance performances, Bollywood retro music, and much more.
