MCA is one of the flagship programs at VJTI and as a former student, I can state that admission to its MCA course is pretty straightforward. First of all, you should check whether you are eligible or not for the MCA course. The basic eligibility criteria include a bachelor’s degree in any discipline with 50% marks from a UGC-recognised university. 

Once you are eligible for the course, you have to appear in the MAH MCA CET entrance exam. VJTI provide admission to its MCA courses based on the entrance exam. You have to appear in the exam and try to match the MCA cutoff provided by the college. The 2023 MAH MCA CET cutoff for VJTI was 99.55.

Before appearing in the exam, you must register for the centralised admission process (CAP). It is controlled by DTE, Maharashtra. After clearing the exam, you have to appear in the selection process which generally consists of a group discussion and an interview. Every year VJTI takes in around 60 students for the MCA course.

VJTI is one of the best government colleges in Mumbai offering courses like BTech, MTech, MCA and more. Every year many students aspire to be admitted to it to pursue their desired courses and become successful in their careers. BTech is one of the main courses offered by VJTI in many specialisations. Admission to VJTI is based on your performance in the MHT CET exam. Every year, the college releases a cutoff for its BTech specialisations.
