What is the reputation of BITS Goa when compared with other colleges in South India like NIT Trichy, NIT K , VIT, SRM, RVCE and BMSCE?

If you are comparing BITS Goa with NIT Trichy and NIT K then these NITs are better than or very much equal to BITS Goa. As far as academics are concerned NIT Trichy is way ahead. The only thing that students face problems with is the fees at BITS Goa. Otherwise, I would suggest that you can get a better brand value of BITS Goa, which is higher than NITs.
What do IITians think of BITS Goa/Hyderabad?

To make an informed decision, it's crucial to understand that changing your choice based on the college you get into won't have much impact. You should acknowledge that Electronics and Instrumentation in BITS Pilani Goa Campus and Electrical and Electronics in NIT Surathkal are two distinct engineering streams with different colleges, and both colleges are excellent in their own right.
Your selection of the branch should entirely depend on your interest. If you are intrigued by electrical or electronic circuits or have been fascinated by electricity since childhood, EEE is the perfect fit for you. You should definitely go with BITS Goa. The physics faculty at the institute is really good and no one can reiterate this enough. If you happen to take courses like Mechanics and OScil, you will realize this in the first year itself.
Moreover, the college festival, Waves, is a major highlight. Many discussions regarding the best departments in the college have always had synchronous replies with physics being the major answer. The faculty members are well versed in the field and are dedicated individuals.
But if you are still confused, you must know that the curriculum and syllabus are the same on all three campuses. Your degree will finally specify that you graduated from BITS Pilani.
How hard is it to get into BITS Goa?
Getting admission into BITS Goa isn’t hard. You need to score above 300 in BITSAT to be eligible. Circuital branches, i.e. Computer Science Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering have higher cutoff requirement. Is BITS Goa good for CS?
According to some of my friends studying at BITS Goa, it is undeniably a very established institute to pursue Computer Science (CS). One of the main reasons is the faculty BITS Goa essentially involves. Under their supervision, you will be part of handling several projects in your course of study.
However, at times, it might get quite difficult securing certain individual projects under the guidance of professors due to a huge amount of competition.

Which is better, BITS-Goa vs BIT Mesra?
A senior of mine from school is an alumnus of BITS Goa and he has all the respect for the institution. He has told me that BIT Mesra is a good place for someone who would like to pursue CSE, ECE. The placement is also pretty good there from what he has heard.
Coming to BITS Goa, it is a tier 1 Indian engineering institution. Most of the students from Indian engineering colleges practice computer programming for becoming computer engineers. There are packages of 5-50 LPA, depending on the skills of the applicants. These companies do not look for academic credentials. They are only interested in the GitHub and TopCoder profiles of the job applicants.
A lot of the BIT alumni end up being managers in industries, based on hard work and luck. The package would be around 5-15 LPA. Unlike in the previous case, these companies are heavily dependent on the academic credentials of the job applicants.
BIT Mesra is a 3 tier engineering institute. Most of the students who have completed their education from this institute end up working in working as employees in the IT companies that are service-based with packages of 3-4 LPA.
