One of my friends studied at Delhi University. According to him, taking admission at PGDAV for B.Com will prove to be good for your career.
If both the colleges are compared, we will see that PGDAV is much ahead than Ram Lal Anand (RLA) in several factors:
Therefore after analyzing all the points, it is suggested that you take admission in PGDAV College, as it will give you a secure future.
I have a few friends from both Shyam Lal College (Delhi) and Sri Aurobindo. Here is what you can expect from the institutes.
Shyam Lal College (Delhi):
Sri Aurobindo College:
As per what you have read, it is now upon what your decision looks like. Make an informed decision.
Among the colleges mentioned above, Maitreyi College is the best option for pursuing a B.Com degree. However, it is a girl's college. The infrastructure of the college is quite good. The campus offers a decent learning environment. The area surrounding Maitrayi is neat and clean with many embassies.
Candidates who want to pursue BCA from MSU Baroda can apply online with the required information. Eligible candidates need to appear for the entrance test conducted by the Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda. Admission is based on the marks obtained in the entrance test.
Admission to the B. Com (Honors) is done on the basis of the merit of the aggregate marks secured by students in 12th (H.S.S.C.) Examination.
So, B.Com does not require any specific entrance exam while BCA does.
Among these two institutes, KMC (Kirori Mal College) is the better option for pursuing a B.Com (H). As a B.Com student, you will get all the required facilities. The faculty base is quite good. They are well-experienced and have good command over the subjects. The college has a collection of the latest books. Overall, it offers decent academics and environment to grow.
Narsee Monjee College of Commerce and Economics is better for pursuing a B.Com (Hons.). It is older and well-reputed. The commerce faculty of the college is excellent. NMIMS is primarily a B-School and offers a good MBA degree. But it started offering undergraduate degrees recently.
Narsee Monjee B.Com fees are almost half of what you will pay at NMIMS. The total course fees amount to INR 92,000.
NM College of Commerce and Economics placements are good. Reputed companies such as Morgan Stanley, EY, KPMG, etc. visit the campus placements. The average CTC received by the students is around INR 7 LPA.
Allahabad University is a renowned institution, known as the Oxford of Eastern India for its prestigious reputation.
Allahabad University is a great institution in the Eastern part of India with a rich history and a diverse community.
According to the reviews online, Shaheed Bhagat Singh College (SBSC) is considered to be a better institution than Delhi College of Arts and Commerce (DCAC).
Here are some reasons as to why:
| Categories | B.Com (Hons.) at SBSC | B.Com (Hons.) at DCAC |
| Placement Percentage | 80-90% | 80% |
| Highest CTC | 15 LPA | 10-14 LPA |
| Average CTC | 8 LPA | 5 LPA |
| Recruiting Companies | KPMG, Wipro, JSW, BYJU's etc. | EY, Wipro, TCS, HCL, etc. |
Overall, SBSC is definitely better when compared to DCAC for pursuing a B.Com Honours.
Among the mentioned two colleges, Shaheed Bhagat Singh College (SBSC) will be a better choice for B.Com (Hons.).
| Categories | B.Com at SBSC | B.Com at DSC |
| Course Fee | INR 23,000 | INR 27,000 |
| Placement Percentage | 80-90% | 78% |
| Highest CTC | 15 LPA | 20 LPA |
| Average CTC | 8 LPA | 4.8 LPA |
| Recruiting Companies | KPMG, Wipro, JSW, BYJU's etc. | TCS, Wipro, Infosys, HCL, etc. |
Dyal Singh College (DSC) is good but when compared to SBSC, it is more of a second option for commerce students after SBSC.
It is suggested that you go for Sri Venkateswara College (SVC) or Sri Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce (SGGSCC), as both colleges are famous for their commerce department.
They have the best, most experienced faculty with some professors having 15-20 years of educational experience. You will have opportunities to take part in extracurricular activities through clubs and societies. SVC also has the best placement opportunities and has the advantage of being in Satya Niketan, the best college of south campus.
Therefore, your first choice or preference should be either SVC or SGGSCC, followed by Ramjas college.
