I have friends in both the colleges, Jamia Millia and BIT Sindri. Here is a brief comparison of the two institutions.
- JMI Btech has a 100% placement record.
- JMI also offers better faculty, infrastructure, academic environment, and extracurricular activities.
- BIT Sindri used to be quite reputed previously. But the infrastructure of the institute is not up to the mark. Many of my friends left the institute just because of the poor hostel facilities. And those who are still at the institute complain about the poor salary package offered in the placements. The environment of the institute is also not that great, other than the college.
Despite these facts, you will find good reviews about BIT Sindri on different social media. These reviews are out of love for the institute not based on facts. There is no way you will find the same facilities as JMI, at BIT Sindri.
