Yes my university provides different Scholarship to the Candidates coming from SC/ST or other backward classes. I don't applied for any kind of scholarship as the fees is quite affordable at my college

The course curriculum was good, and you become a really good doctor if you are serious about your studies. You get a lot of exposure to the patients, and the college also conducts seminars, presentations and case discussions.

There was an online entrance examination . Based on merits lists students are called for counselling. There are 3 counselling and timings of starting is 9 am in the morning . Area is within the campus .

The fee of the the course dialysis therapy technology in 1 year is 3030 rupee and after that 500 rupee per semester for 4 years completed fee is 8120 for 4 year . There is no scholarships for this course. There is no such policy.

About my course is that I am currently pursuing BSc in Operation Theatre Technology which has a higher level in all other paramedical courses and I think it is best for any abroad job also with a great income. About the academics is that everyone has to study on its own, get ready to make your reflexes starts acting faster. The difficulty level of the exams held is of such kind that we would become habitual to face problems and handle them easily in future when we are doing our job. Teaching methods include PPTs for different topics which we also have to make on our own and the consultant will explain each and every point or concept included in our presentation. We get industry connected placement training. Where a mentor from the industry teaches us the technology. We learn updated and trending technologies. In the placement training classes, faculty brush up all the concepts and we have placement drives in the campus itself.

The academics in every semester gets updated. We have a curriculum designed for industry training. We have credits for each course. Students have a chance to opt for courses, faculty, and projects of their choice.

Students from 4rth year are eligible for placement. Pgi provide job for it's own students. Bond system is here. Students can apply for foreign jobs as pgi provide their degree and a sheet with completed number of hours as in clinical we need 100% attendance. Students who don't want to work in pgi can go to different hospitals as pgi is a recognized university they will get job easily. 80% students get job in pgi. As many new blocks are building here for future, they will require large amount of nursing officers so they will give job to their own university students. Some senior got their job with a high amount as salary with health benefits, hostel allowanc, travel allowance, and tax is included. Working hour are less here, people can switch there shifts with there workmates as per there convince. My plan is to work here as a nursing officer and do my master degree from pgi itself.

Faculties are very approachable, there are 6 faculty for a class and even external faculties are included for external subjects. Library is provided for students. Coordinator is always available for students and is she is not available then co-coordinator is available. Semester wise exams system. Many practice exams like internal exams are there, for boosting students confidence micro teaching are there for evaluating students.

Annual fest is here (zenath). And foundation day of nips and pgi nursing celebrated here in which some stars come here to perform. Sports Complex is there in complex. 24*7 library is provided. Library card is provided without any cost and library card is compulsory. Conference are held here many times . We have to attend conference as they are compulsory. International Conference are held here, we can participate in them. Hostel daily outing is provided. We can hang out in chandigarh as here we have food outlets near pgi within walking distance, we can hang out after college. Festivals are celebrated here with a lot of joy. Freshers and farewell are amazing. You will not miss your social life here.
