The MBA Tech. program is specially designed to meet this growing need. It is an integrated course that comprises B.Tech and MBA. It is to be completed in a tenure of 5 years (3+2 years).
The student will receive 2 degrees at the end of 5 years:-
The integrated degree has more potential than a general degree acquired at any of the rival colleges Like Manipal, VIT, SRM, etc. The tag of NMIMS is also an added advantage. This degree will always have an upper hand over the normal B.Tech degree.
B.Tech in Engineering Sciences is a unique program that is being offered in India for the first time. Its uniqueness lies in the wide spectrum of specializations it offers enabling you to explore all your interests and options.
Ultimately, the final decision rests with you!
One of my friends studied at Mizoram University (MZU). According to him, it is not a good choice to opt for MZU to pursue engineering.
Here are some reasons why:
Therefore, it is suggested that you do not opt for MZU to study engineering, because it will not be worthwhile. As you will learn less and even fall out of job opportunities.
RGPV (Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya) minimum passing marks for BE:
for promotion to the next year: you need to clear all subjects of previous year(s) or stay within ATKT rules (max 4 backlogs allowed for promotion under RGPV's scheme). check the latest RGPV examination ordinance on rgpv.ac.in for your specific batch's rules as passing criteria can vary by exam scheme.
You will be asked fundamental STEM questions. The difficulty level will be basic to moderate in general. Sometimes they ask hard questions too like curve tracing in Mathematics. Prepare Mathematics fundamentals, Physics basics, Current affairs, and GK in depth.
You should also keep in mind that a good interview doesn’t guarantee your selections. There are other factors at play, such as Written Test Performance, Reservation Quota, etc.
One of my friends had studied at Osmania University.
In the latest CBCS system that was being introduced in the year 2016, you must get 40% of the total marks. In other words, if you get a total of 40 marks including your external and internal in all of the subjects, then you will pass the semester.
Earlier, that is, before 2016, students had to score a minimum of 28 marks in the external examination to pass the semester.
The current rule is that, if you get 40 marks overall (Internal + external) then you will pass whereas the internal assessment is on 30 marks.
It is better to go for B.Tech at Tezpur University (TU) than Assam Engineering College (AEC). Following are the reasons for the same:
| Categories | B.Tech at AEC | B.Tech at TU |
| Course Fee | INR 44,000 | 1.76 lakh |
| Placement Percentage | 80% | 50% |
| Highest CTC | 17 LPA | 14 LPA |
| Average CTC | 6 LPA | 3.5 LPA |
| Recruiting Companies | Capgemini, IBM, Wipro, Reliance, etc. | SAP Labs, Amazon, Intel, Dabur, etc. |
If your aim is to get a job right after your graduation, then you should join AEC. But if you are interested more in research and exposure and want to opt for higher studies, TU will be a better option.
MBA Tech is an integrated program that aims to produce Techno-Managers. There will be Technical Industrial Training of 8 weeks and Management Industrial Training of 20 weeks.

Management Quota: For the MBA Tech course in Mumbai, the management quota fee may cost around 5 Lakhs per annum. If you are an outstation candidate, then it may rise because of the addition of hostel charges or rent and your expenses.
Think twice before spending your money while taking admission in NMIMS MPSTME because the cost is high.
If you want to top B.Tech. from AKTU, adopt consistency and hard work. Rather than focusing on theory parts, pay more attention to numerical questions. The listed below points will help you further in getting a good rank:
Be a regular and disciplined student. Bond with your teachers and attend classes regularly.
The answer to every question should be more than 2 paragraphs.
Make sure your answer sheet is neat and organized.
Use two inks. A different one for the headings and important parts.
Make the best use of your writing skills. This applies even if you don’t know the exact answer.
These tips will prove to help get good marks in B.Tech.
