Both LNCT Bhopal and JIIT Noida are reputed institutes for engineering education in India. In terms of opportunity and placement, both institutes have their advantages and disadvantages. Here is a comparison of the two institutes based on various parameters:

  • Reputation: Both LNCT Bhopal and JIIT Noida are well-reputed institutes for engineering education in India. However, JIIT Noida has a slightly better reputation in the industry and among recruiters.
  • Course Curriculum: The course curriculum at both institutes is designed to provide a comprehensive education in engineering. However, JIIT Noida has a more updated and industry-relevant curriculum compared to LNCT Bhopal.
  • Faculty: Both institutes have highly qualified and experienced faculty members who are experts in their respective fields. However, JIIT Noida has a higher ratio of Ph.D. holders in its faculty.
  • Infrastructure: Both institutes have good infrastructure and modern facilities, including labs, libraries, and sports facilities. However, JIIT Noida has a more modern and well-equipped campus compared to LNCT Bhopal.
  • Placements: Both institutes have good placement records, with top companies visiting their campuses for recruitment. However, JIIT Noida has a slightly better placement record and a wider range of recruiters compared to LNCT Bhopal.

Based on the above comparison, JIIT Noida would be a better choice in terms of opportunity and placement. However, it is important to note that the ultimate success in placements and career opportunities depends on individual skills, knowledge, and performance.

Should I choose CS at JIIT Noida or BIET Jhansi?

AG
Archit Garg Posted On : February 19th, 2021
B.Tech BIET Jhansi,2020

There is no surety about JIIT Noida, but- BIET JHANSI is a government college and ranks at 3 in UPTU. It has a very large campus with all facilities and placements are also good. While JIIT is a private institute. So, there is no comparison between BIET and JIIT. As we know that there are a number of private colleges in every nook and corner but government colleges are rare.

Here are some highlights of the CS program at BIET Jhansi.

Infrastructure:

On campus, you will have ample resources to enhance your coding skills like free LAN. You can also count on the seniors to provide useful hacks but it does not include the faculty.

Placement:

  • At campus, most of the offers are made by TCS. However, you can always opt for off-campus placement. Alumni of this college are even placed in Adobe
  • Placements from college are merely in TCS but you have many options for off-campus placements. Alumni are even placed at Adobe.

Here is a brief overview of the CS program offered by JIIT Noida AND BIET Jhansi.

Basis

JIIT Noida

BIET Jhansi

Fee Structure for Btech

INR 2.37 LPA

INR 61,800

Highest CTC

INR 43.17 LPA

INR 12 LPA

Average CTC

INR 7.4 LPA

INR 4.5 LPA

Major Recruiters

Adobe, DE Shaw, Amazon, Morgan Stanley, etc.

Adobe, Optum, TCS, Wipro, and Byjus.

Hence, looking at the above table, it can be said that JIIT Noida is a way better choice over BIET Jhansi. But CS at BIET Jhansi is only advisable if you love coding. Otherwise, there’s a high chance that you will remain jobless by your final year.

Which institute should I take for the CS branch, Jaypee, Noida, or NIT Goa?

JC
Jiya Chadda Posted On : August 25th, 2021
Studies CSE at NIT Warangal, 2023

It depends upon what you think you will pursue as a career. Generally, there are transparent ways into monitoring whether or not an institute is really worthy, at least when considering the CSE department.

  • If you are more inclined towards pursuing a career as a computer programmer, then here are some websites you should definitely check out: CodeChef, HackerRank and CodeForces.
  • These competitions apparently gauge the programming skills a person generally comes with, and whether or not they will be successful in relevant aspects.
  • These websites come with a neat leaderboard, including the ranks of coders assessed accordingly in terms of their programming skills.
  • The major upside of these sites is that the leaderboard arrives with the name of the institute these coders belong from.
  • This naturally helps to evaluate how reasonable an institute is.
  • You can moreover filter the leaderboards in accordance to the institute you prefer.
Categories CSE at Jaypee Noida CSE at NIT Goa
Course Fee 9.22 lakh 5.38 akh
Highest CTC 20 LPA 14 LPA
Average CTC 10 LPA 7 PA
Recruiting Companies Adobe, Accenture, Cognizant, KPMG, etc. Capgemini, Oracle, Wipro, IBM, etc.

Therefore, these features go on to provide more compact comparisons among institutes and can possibly help you decide which institute is worthy. However, it is best to also research more about the prospects each institute shares; and how they are in terms of placement, faculty, etc.

Is JIIT Sector 128 better than LNCT Bhopal?

NS
Nidhi Seth Posted On : September 17th, 2021
Computer Science and Engineering at IIEST (2020)

I have friends from both LNCT Bhopal and JIIT Noida, and according to the conversations that I had with them, I will say JIIT is relatively better than the former. The reason, quite clearly, is because the admission shortlisting is based upon the rank secured in JEE Mains, and not on the basis of marks acquired in the boards.

So you will be among a better peer group at JIIT which will be highly beneficial for your personality development, alongside several other positive differences.

Here are the recent placement highlights for both institutes.

Institutes LNCT, Bhopal JIIT, Noida
Placement Percentage 83% 96%
Highest Salary Package INR 27 LPA (2020) INR. 43.17 LPA
Average Salary Package INR 3.3 LPA INR. 7.40 LPA
Top Recruiting Companies VMware, Microsoft, Amazon, Cognizant, Wipro, Infosys, TCS, Capgemini Adobe, DE Shaw, Amazon, Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs, Google India, Deloitte

With better peer group and exposure, JIIT Noida is definitely better than LNCT Bhopal.
