I’m in the IT branch at KNIT, and overall, I find it a good choice. The curriculum is relevant and helps us tackle real-world problems, but the faculty could be more supportive. The placement opportunities are quite good; I’ve seen many seniors get placed at good companies like Infosys and Wipro. The average package is around 6-7 LPA, which is encouraging. However, I think there should be more emphasis on hands-on projects to really prepare us for the industry.

I am in the B.Tech Electrical Engineering course at KNIT Sultanpur, and I find the curriculum to be pretty standard, but it lacks the practical exposure needed to prepare us for real-world applications. The faculty is a mix; some are very helpful, while others seem less engaged.

I chose Kamla Nehru Institute of Technology for my B.Tech in Information Technology mainly because of its affordability and decent placement rates. The curriculum is relevant, and while some subjects feel a bit repetitive, the overall teaching quality is good. The faculty is supportive, and they often help us prepare for exams, which consist of two class tests and a final semester exam.

The placement opportunities are quite good, especially for IT, with companies like TCS and Infosys frequently visiting. Overall, I’m satisfied with my decision to study here, as I believe I’m gaining the skills needed for the industry.

To get admission into KNIT Sultanpur, you need to appear for the JEE Mains exam and score a decent rank. After that, you must participate in the AKTU counseling process. Based on your rank, you can fill in your college preferences. For my course, I had to secure a rank below 70,000 to get into the Computer Science branch, and luckily, I got in after the counseling. The admission process is pretty straightforward as long as you follow the instructions on the AKTU website and submit the necessary documents on reporting day.

If you are considering KNIT Sultanpur, you should know that the college has a great community vibe and supports students well. The curriculum for BTech, especially in Information Technology, is good, and the fees are manageable at around ?88,850 per year, which includes hostel charges.

However, while the placement for IT students seems decent with an average package of about ?10 LPA, core branches often face challenges in securing good placements. The college does well in organizing events and fests, which adds to the campus life experience.

If you have a strong inclination towards IT, you might weigh options like JSS Noida or JIIIT Noida, as they could provide better exposure and opportunities.
