I'm currently studying CSE at Kalyani Government Engineering College. From what I've observed, ECE students tend to score a bit higher on average than those in CSE when you look at semester grades. Both departments have a good number of students focused on preparing for higher studies like MS or MTech. If you ever find yourself needing help, the faculty and seniors are super supportive and willing to lend a hand.

When it comes to choosing between ECE and CSE, I recommend going with what you’re most passionate about. Both departments are quite similar in many ways, and it's really the students who make the difference. Make sure to thoroughly check out the curriculum and subjects for both, and pick the one that you find most interesting and worth dedicating your next four years to.
