The admission process is through the pgi entrance exam for the paramedical course, pgi entrance exam allows you to choose between the various paramedical courses, eligibility criteria for the exam is 12th class passing grades, reservation benefits are also provided to the students, the exam is held once a year, the form are released on the pgimer official website.

The total course fee is 3030 and their is no fee hike or any other charges. No scholarship is provided by the college since it is a government body, but the internship provided is the best, which provides the students best clinical experience

The curriculum of the course lacks at some points like proper class, schedule of some departments like biochemistry and physiology, anatomy department is the best with the best curriculum and experienced teachers. Exams are held semester wise, and the difficulty is moderate

Students from 4rth year are eligible for placement. Pgi provide job for it's own students. Bond system is here. Students can apply for foreign jobs as pgi provide their degree and a sheet with completed number of hours as in clinical we need 100% attendance. Students who don't want to work in pgi can go to different hospitals as pgi is a recognized university they will get job easily. 80% students get job in pgi. As many new blocks are building here for future, they will require large amount of nursing officers so they will give job to their own university students. Some senior got their job with a high amount as salary with health benefits, hostel allowanc, travel allowance, and tax is included. Working hour are less here, people can switch there shifts with there workmates as per there convince. My plan is to work here as a nursing officer and do my master degree from pgi itself.

I had appeared for neet. But as a average student i couldn't make it to be a doctor insted i cracked pgi chandigarh nsc nursing entrance. Pgi chandigarh is very affordable. It provide job as bond is signed during admission, hostel is provided, everything is very affordable here, we have to pay for uniform and that is one time investment. Pgi conduct exam for admission. Pgi chandigarh bsc nursing entrance is the name of exam, it's basically conducted in month of june or july and it is conducted in 4-5 state of north india, it is for females only. Merit list will ne released after the result and student who get their name in list can apply for counseling. Currently there are 89 seats in bsc nursing for 2024 but from 2025 seats will be increased and they will be 128 . Exam is of moderate level. It comprises of biology 20 question. Physics 20 question. Chemistry 20 question. English 20 question. Nursing aptitude 20 question. Paper is conducted in online mode Exam is of 2 hours and 100 questions will be there and +1 for a correct answer and -0. 25 for a wrong answer. This course gives a better income within short duration of time and as pgi provide permanent job to students with bond(bond is there). Class shedule is very hectic as we have to go clinical area in morning (hospital duty) then after duty we have class and labs. College timings are 8:30am to 5:00pm. There are a lot of Assignment and written work. But everything is evaluatory and everything is evaluated on the basis of performance not biased system. There are 5 casual leaves per semester. In my point of view they should increase holidays as students get tired with there busy schedule. Semester wise external exams are taken here, and we do have different centers for exams. We do have Preparatory holidays and we can consultant our faculty online offline in both ways if we need them. Faculty are very Coorporating.

The placements are okay , if you are having skills in co, and you are studying properly with your curriculum you can surely grab opportunities. But here if you're an average student there is no problem , the placement cell is here to help you in every aspect, and the placement department is very much supportive.

PGIMER does not organize for a campus placement facility but all the students who pursue their education from PGIMER are able to get good jobs very easily. Their is a tremendous learning in the institute and by the end of 4 years a students turns into a professional.
