Don’t think twice before choosing IIM. You should not underestimate its brand name despite it being a new IIM. The more you invest in your education the higher ROI you will get. No matter how the institution is, your own efforts count more than anything. Genius minds grab opportunities even from a small college. And here we are talking about an IIM. Work hard, enjoy your MBA and see yourself flying in the next few years.

An MBA in IB from the Delhi School of Economics (DSE) is a great option to consider, particularly when compared to the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Amritsar. While you may be considering IIM Amritsar due to its reputation, it is important to note that DSE has several advantages. Some reasons to consider DSE for your MBA include the following:

You are strongly recommended to go for DSE as this brand will surely give you a good start. And after 6–8 years of working in the industry, you can consider going for another MBA from an Ivy League college.

Great Lakes Institute of Management, Chennai (GL) offers a One-year PGPM program, while the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Amritsar has a 2-year PGPM program. Considering the various factors that define a college’s worth, I personally think IIM Amritsar is better than the Department of Business Economics. I have arrived at this conclusion due to the following reasons

• The IIM tag no doubt is the major USP of any IIM. 
• The placement scenario is much better than that of the Department of Business Economics mainly due to the IIM tag
• Both curriculum and faculty are better at IIM and thus there is more accountability than DBE.
• The high fees you invest in in reality help you to be more sincere towards your program. You don’t take it lightly when lakhs of rupees have been spent. This is enough of a motivating factor.
