At NIE, studying B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering has its ups and downs. The college has a strong focus on placements, which is why I chose it. Companies like JP Morgan and Infosys come for internships, and students are eligible from the 6th semester. The average package last year was about 12 LPA.

The faculty is mostly experienced with many holding PhDs, but some teaching methods could be improved. The exams are frequent, making it a bit stressful, but manageable if you keep up with your studies. Campus life could use more events, as there’s mainly just one big fest, Technieks, each year.
