Will BITS Pilani increase the fees in the near future?
Yes, BITS Pilani will increase their fees in the near future. But you also need to know the reason behind this. The top government engineering institutions such as IITs receive full government funding which helps them to operate efficiently and thus charge lower fees. However, BITS Pilani does not receive any kind of government funding so its main source of revenue is the students’ fees to maintain the level of education and onboard top-notch faculties. The current fee of BITS Pilani is around INR 21 lakhs which I agree is a bit too much.
How hard is the curriculum of a B.Tech IT in IIIT-Allahabad compared to CSE in IITs and BITS Pilani?
Among the given options, BITS Pilani CSE is relatively better. Here is why.
- BITS Pilani has a strict no reservation policy so you will have a better peer group there.
- The institute follows a relative grading system. Your grades will depend on your batchmates and the one who has scored the highest grades. It can be a bit hard there to get good pointers because of the tough competition.
- According to the recent placement highlights, the highest package offered by BITS Pilani was INR 45 LPA and the average package was INR 18.05 LPA. The percentage of placement this year has been 99%. Top recruiters are HSBC, Linked In, Adobe, etc. While the highest package recorded by IIIT Allahabad was INR 43 LPA with the average package being INR 20.83 LPA.
As for the difficulty level of the curriculum, it’s entirely subjective.

Electronics and Instrumentation at BITS Pilani and Electronics and Communication at MNNIT Allahabad both are good choices. Also, BITS Pilani and MNNIT are reputed institutes. So, you should choose either of these two options based on your interest.
I have few friends at BITS, s I can give you some idea about their ENI branch.
- ENI course offered by BITS Pilani is great in terms of academics and pay package. ENI is derived from EEE courses with only 3 - 4 courses being different from EEE.
- BITS also offers extensive lab facilities for their EEE branch due to CEERI.
- According to the recent placement highlights, the average and highest CTC offered at BITS is 15.96 LPA and 9.7 LPA. At MNNIT the average and highest CTC are 10 LPA and 49 LPA respectively.

BITS Pilani offers an MBA program that takes two years and focuses on business and new ideas. The institute puts a lot of emphasis on study and new ideas, and its courses are meant to teach students how to think critically and solve problems.
Both schools have their own strengths, so which one you choose relies on your personal preferences and career goals. IIM Bangalore is a well-known and well-established school that offers a wide range of management programs. BITS Pilani, on the other hand, focuses on innovation and business.

The choice of colleges would depend upon many factors and the rankings could differ for everyone but according to me the preference would be BITS Pilani > BIMTECH Noida (core) > IMT Hyderabad (core) > DSM DTU.

So, it is hard to tell which one got better facilities, as both operate in different areas.
How are the placements at BITS Pilani?
Placement are very good in my college and as I told ROI is there , so average package is 15 LPA, and highest package was 2CR and it was an international offer. From 7th semester students are eligible to sit for the placement
How is the faculty at BITS Pilani?
Min 4 exams will be there per semester. you can choose the subjects as per your wish. so per year there will be 2 semester and total 8 exams and you will have min 4 quiz per year and 2 lab exams. even if you write so good the marks by faculty is less. All students on WILP go average to good marks and not full mark. Exam questions are tough . All staffs are good they clear the doubt. I would not say faculty members are bad
How is the campus life at BITS Pilani?
The infracture is great and the campus facility is also great they have the sport area and hospitality liblary support Since i have done through WILP i have not much experienced the campus but the overall experience is good
