Management courses at IIM Indore are taught throughout semesters. In each semester you will have subjects taught via case studies or group presentations or role-plays. It can be difficult if you are not good at communication. 

But there are elements that provide fun as well that will help you try to improve your personality, and your communication skills get better, that's when your confidence will improve. To be honest, there's no other degree that can make such a huge impact on your life more than an MBA degree.

Be mindful of the curriculum because it may seem intimidating but is not as tough as it seems, what makes it difficult is the deadlines for assignments, but once you cross this hurdle you'll be in a world full of opportunities and growth.

The integrated MBA program at IIM Indore or as the name goes, the IPM program would be the best option to go for if you are not interested in the technological field or any other field and you want to start your own business or get placed at a good company in the field of management.

If some other field of study interests you then I would suggest you go for the same and not for the IPM program and regret it later.

As far as the placements are concerned, even though I do not know much about it, I am pretty sure you will get placed with a good company and IIM Indore is a reputed B-school.

If you want to qualify for pursuing IPM at IIM Indore you will need to complete your class 12 board exams. After you have completed your board exams, you can begin preparing for the IPM entrance exams also known as IPMAT.

The IPMAT is not a difficult exam and if you are diligent in your preparation then you will be able to get through. The students have to perform questions pertaining to logical ability, English grammar, and vocabulary followed by Quant, or mathematics.

If your foundation in maths is strong then you will have a major advantage. 

Once you have cleared the exams, you will be called up for the personal interview round. For clearing the written test in IPMAT, you will have to clear the sectional cutoff is Quantitative Aptitude (MCQs and SA) followed by verbal ability.

AMET University is deemed to be a university and reputed for offering quality education in maritime studies across various disciplines. The university has a placement rate of 60% in general.

BBA Shipping is a job oriented program which helps students to get placements in the Shipping sector. This 3-year long course is divided into 6 semesters and teaches students Multimodal Transportation, Maritime Law, Business Law, Liner Trade, Customs Laws and Procedures, Marketing and Organisational behavior.

• Students will have to choose between 3 focus areas, i.e. Port Agency and Chartering, Liner Trade, and Multimodal Transportation.

• In the second year of the BBA Shipping program, students will begin internships.

• Students can also choose to pursue the twinning program of BBA Shipping, which is the BSc (Hons) Maritime Business and Logistics offered by the University of Plymouth, after the first two years of study.

• Students get placements According to the CGPA they earn.

• About 25 MNCs visit AMET University each year and over 95% of students get recruited each year. The internship Rate is equally efficient with a percentage of 90%.

• Manager Port Logistics, Documentation Executive, Steward, Transport Manager are the roles in which students of BBA Shipping get employed.

• Students of the BBA Shipping program get employed in sectors like Shipping Companies, International Freight forwarding companies, and Ports, Logistics companies.

• The top recruiters for the program are Maersk, Selandia, Fleet Management Limited, Sea Team, Goodwood, etc.

Students can choose to go for the BBA Shipping program if they are interested in management and business in the Shipping and Logistics arena.

This is entirely a matter of your choice or preference. Both these courses have a very different offering from each other in terms of learning. One is a double bachelor (BA LLB) and the other is a Bachelor's + Master’s degree (BBA-MBA). You can choose one or the other on the basis of your interest. If you are someone who wants to pursue a career in law and be a lawyer, you should pick the course from NLSIU, and if the Management and business side of things is where your interests lie, the clear choice is IIM Indore.

If placements are what concern you, IIM Indore is the winner as compared to NLSIU. IIM Indore’s Integrated Programme in Management has an average pay package of about 20 lakhs per annum which is way more than NLSIU’s median at 12 lakhs per annum for a BA LLB graduate. Along with this, IIM Indore also offers opportunities to be placed abroad, and those who get placed abroad can get a package up to 90 LPA, on the other hand, NLSIU doesn’t have much scope for placements abroad and the few that take place don’t garner more than a 20L PA package.
