If you have the required skill set, you can get interview calls from these companies. If you belong to some IIT, you will certainly have some advantage over the others.

Before I begin, let me clear the misconception that the 3-year MTech program is inferior in quality to the 2-year MTech program. Because of this false assumption, the higher ranking MTech students tend to choose the 2-year MTech programs instead of the 3-year program.

- The difference is that you will have to invest more time in your RA (research assistantship) duties. 3 year MTech is funded from research projects so you will be working on research projects quite early. 3 years are more than enough to get publications with the right determination and hard work. Both IIT Hyderabad and IIT Bombay offer 3-year MTech programs. There may be some other IITs as well offering similar programs.

ISM is good because its tag helps in getting better opportunities in the future. If you're average at coding, even then do not worry because at ISM you will anyway get good packages. Being a government college, the syllabus at ISM Dhanbad is better.

BITS Pilani is compared with IITs. On the other hand, BIT Sindri is newly established and comes under Government College in Jharkhand and is guided and run by the state government.

According to my friends studying at BITS Pilani, you should go with CSE. As it has got quite higher packages and has a greater number of job opportunities.
