Let’s clarify what you’re looking for. Are you interested in the quality of faculties, placements, or just the overall campus experience? The answer to all these is the same – Yes!
Whether you choose B.Com or engineering, you’ll have a fantastic experience here. But focusing on your question, here’s a brief overview of the B.Com (Hons.) course at LPU.
Overall, LPU provides a solid platform for B.Com students!
Not all private colleges or universities offer promising internships and placements for their students. While I can't speak for LPU, Chitkara University definitely provides fruitful placement opportunities. Here are some key points:
Chitkara University's Computer Science Engineering program was ranked 19th among India’s top 50 private engineering colleges in 2020. Collaborations with companies like Virtusa and Quickheal, along with partnerships with leading blue-chip firms, create excellent opportunities for students.
Additionally, Chitkara University offers a global program in Software Engineering with academic mentorship from Deakin University, Australia. Students can study Computer Engineering at Chitkara for two years and then transfer to Deakin University to graduate with a Bachelor of Software Engineering (Honours) degree from Australia after a total of four years (2+2) of study.
It's a perfect blend of academic excellence, innovative teaching methods, and proactive industry engagement!
After graduating from B.Pharm at LPU, students typically see an in-hand salary ranging from Rs.25,000 to Rs.30,000 per month, especially if they land a job in the pharmaceutical industry or a clinical unit. I graduated in 2025, and many of my classmates were placed in good companies during the campus placements. The course really prepares you for various roles in the health industry.
LPU’s fee structure depends on the percentage of the student. The fee varies for each student, ranging from Rs.57,000 to Rs.2,37,000 for the 3-year course. It is determined by either the aggregate percentage in the last qualified exam (12th grade for UG courses) or performance in the LPU-NEST entrance exam.
Here’s how it breaks down:
You can find the fees on the official LPU website at www.lpu.in. The fee structure varies based on your marks in your previous qualification (10+2). If you have scored well in 10+2, you’ll be eligible for a good scholarship! However, if your 10+2 score isn't impressive, you can take the entrance exam offered by LPU, called LPUNEST. Scoring well in LPUNEST can also help you secure a great scholarship.
Regarding mess and hostel fees, they depend on the type of accommodation you choose, whether it's AC or air cooler. You can opt for mess services either half-yearly or yearly.
I've looked into both LPU and Amity University Noida for BCA, and while both have their merits, I found LPU to have a slight edge. The faculty at LPU seems highly qualified, and the curriculum is designed to build solid programming skills, which is crucial for our field. Amity has a strong reputation too, but LPU's active campus life with regular fests and student-run organizations adds to a more vibrant student experience.
While placement rates are quite good at both, LPU's potential for a higher average package and the availability of scholarships make it more appealing for someone like me aiming for a solid job post-graduation. So, if you're looking for a more dynamic environment with good placement opportunities, LPU might be the better choice.
Parul University often faces criticism on various online platforms, and while it's not a perfect institution, it’s also not as bad as some portray it. For students who expect constant guidance or spoon-feeding, feelings of dissatisfaction are understandable. However, for those who take initiative, even in small ways, the university provides meaningful opportunities to learn and grow.
What truly enriched the experience was learning beyond the classroom. Industry lectures offered valuable exposure, and an AI tech tour to Bangalore, fully funded by the university, provided insights that extended beyond academics. It wasn’t about luxury or rigid academic instruction; it helped in understanding the importance of practical skills, effective communication, and the right mindset in a professional environment—lessons that were unexpected yet invaluable in post-high-school education.
My experience at LPU for B.Pharm has been quite fulfilling. The program offers a solid foundation in pharmacy with a curriculum that covers all necessary aspects of the field. I’ve learned so much about health and pharmaceuticals. The best part is the campus life; we have sports, cultural programs, and even awareness initiatives that keep things lively. The total fee for the course is around 360,000, but there are scholarships available that can ease the financial burden. If you're serious about a career in pharmacy, LPU is definitely worth considering!
Doing a BCA from LPU has been a pretty good experience for me so far. The faculty here are really professional and knowledgeable, which makes understanding the curriculum much easier. I chose this course because of my interest in computers, and I feel like I’m on the right path. As for placements, around 60-70% of students get placed, and the highest package is around 3.3 CR, which is amazing! I still have a couple of semesters left, but I’m hopeful about landing a good job at a top company after my degree.
Hi, After speaking with LPU alumni, I discovered several reasons why LPU stands out for this course. LPU School of Physiotherapy and Paramedical Sciences is recognized as one of India’s top Physiotherapy colleges in Punjab. The school adopts a practice-based approach to train aspiring practitioners in addressing patients' needs. With state-of-the-art infrastructure, labs, and up-to-date machinery, students gain hands-on experience in dealing with physical issues and aiding rehabilitation.
