My friend has graduated from IIM Indore and would describe the fests as massive events of celebration. The institute organizes a lot of literary and cultural events but the two main events in the year are as follows:

Atharv:

• This is the cultural, literary, and management festival of IPM, organized each year. 
• A number of events in this one include managerial to marketing and b-plan events to literary and cultural events. 
• More than 1 lakh students participate in Atharv conducted for 3 days. These events can help you get some cash prizes as well.
• The evenings feature musical and artistic performances by professionals in the field.

Another important fest is titled Ranbhoomi. It is the Annual National Level Sports Festival. This one is held for three days as well and the events range from Cricket, Basketball, Volleyball, Football, and even Chess and Arm-Wrestling.

Some of my friends studied at IIM Indore. According to them, the campus is quite attractive. It is situated between the scenic beauty of nature where you can spot various points like sunset points and many others. Here are some things that make IIM Indore stand out - 

• The campus is surrounded by greenery that provides freshness. You can walk after your classes or relax during your leisure time. 
• Now coming to the academic buildings, they are a big circle, and usually, it takes time to reach the building. 
• Also, the library is well-equipped that owns innumerable books along with the facility of free Wifi connectivity. 
• The food joint is owned by some students. It is clean, hygienic, and affordable.
• The hostel also has every facility with regularly cleaned washrooms and others like geysers, fans, entertainment units, etc. thereby satisfying the daily needs of the students.

Lastly, it can be said that life at IIM Indore is worth spending that can give you an amazing experience for the entire two years of your college life. Study well and try to make it to IIM Indore.

If you have studied Maths till 12th, it cannot be counted as an advantage as it usually fades off after a month of classes and tests. The CBSE/ICSE + JEE type of Maths that you have studied in your school is useless, unfortunately, because it does not have any use here and offers no advantage whatsoever.

Math is definitely very important if you go through the IPM curriculum because of its correlation with subjects like Economics and Statistics which require you to face some number crunching. You will have to put a little effort during the first couple of months or so just as the non-math students do. It will be fruitful because even they score full marks in Math. 

You just have to deal with your Math anxiety. Get over it by making math fun and not scary and IPM will feel like a dream. 

There are many perks of doing an IPM program from IIM Indore. Here are a few of them. 

• If you are a student of an IIM, not only will you get the tag of IIM but also get the IIM experience over five years. You will get acquainted with subjects that you will have to study in your MBA course. You will have a strong base in management subjects like humanities, economics, and maths which will help you a lot in MBA.
• Students who are pursuing IPM are already aware that they will have to go for MBA after completion of the former program and so they frame their resume accordingly. They can take online courses during their undergraduate years. However, if someone pursues an MBA after completing their engineering then they will not think about doing such courses in general.
• Even though the size of the batch is small, it offers more exposure and opportunities which helps in growth. The small size of the batch gives the students access to additional study material. Your peers will help you in times of need.

With IPM you don’t have to worry about competitive examinations for MBA which is definitely an advantage. 

No, there is no provision for lateral admission in IIM Indore IPM. The institute you are currently studying in, the course that you are pursuing, and your scores, even if they are high; does not make any difference.

This is because IIM A, B, C, L, and I, all have their own methodology of teaching. All the other remaining IIMs are also on their way to become unique in their approach.

Apart from the Ph.D. program, the transfer of students is not encouraged. They do not want to put their teaching methodology and students’ career at risk.

However, if you want to get into the program, you can retake the entrance examination. You might then get a call for further rounds of GD and PI if you clear the pre-requisite requirements for age.
