The cutoffs depend on the course you have applied for. In the first round, the cut-off is generally 60%. The categories in which the students belong also determine the admission and hence the cutoffs.

CUSAT Integrated MSc was launched in 2018 and is therefore a relatively new course. Very limited seats are available for this program. The course is offered in almost 20 disciplines for a duration of two years. Admissions into the program are done through the Common Admission Test (CAT) conducted by the university.
The cutoffs depend on a number of factors like no of students selecting this course, the difficulty level of the CAT question paper, and marks scored by other candidates. CUSAT M.Sc CUSAT-CAT Cutoff 2022 (General Category) for various disciplines has been mentioned below

Most top rankers go for IITs, BITS, and some other top NITs. So considering your decent rank, you will have a better chance to get admission to NIT Calicut. If you still have any second chances, prepare for JEE Advanced too because your Mains AIR is great and you might even get into an IIT.
To get admission to NIT Delhi one needs to appear for the JEE (Main) exam and also secure at least 75% marks in Class XII or be within the category-wise top 20 percentile in his/her respective Class XII board examination. Admissions to NIT Delhi are based on your rank in JEE (Main) through JoSAA Counseling and CSAB Special Round.

Yes, you might be able to get into UIET Chandigarh with a JEE Main rank of 74,000. The most likely branch that you will get into as a general category is ECE, EEE, or Mechanical. Things will change if you belong to a reserved category student and you might be able to score a seat in CSE.

Based on this ranking, the hostel is only allocated in biotechnology and engineering without the hostel in Chandigarh is costly, so try to get into the hostel. Other than this, some private hostels will give you everything essential, but they come at a huge cost.
One of my friends recently graduated from Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering and according to him, if you fall under the General Merit category, there is no chance of getting CSE in DSCE. For DSCE the recent cutoff for CSE is 2361.
But if you fall under other reservation categories, then there is a chance you can get a seat in the second shift in CSE. Check the recent cutoff rank for your category to know about your chances.
There is no difference between the normal shift or the second shift. The only difference is the college code. Rest all is as the normal shift. You can't change your branch if you get admission in the second shift.
If placement is your concern, then you can also go for DSATM. Because during placements, both DSCE and DSATM students are allowed to attend together in the same campus.
There is no partiality between DSCE or DSATM for placements. All are given equal opportunity.
Before making a decision on what college you want to get admitted to there are some factors that must be kept in mind: the quality of academics and faculty, extra-curricular activities, the record of recent placements.
There are far better options such as IEM and Techno India. Heritage is an overhyped institute. Also, look for institutes that are not in Kolkata if you want better exposure.
There is no option for direct admissions to join IET Lucknow. You will have to appear in the UPSEE entrance examination and after counseling, you may get into IET Lucknow if your rank is very good. Make sure you meet the eligibility criteria.
