IIT Indore and IIT Bhubaneswar were both established almost at the same time, and both hold an equally good reputation. However, the ECE branch offers better opportunities as compared to the Mechanical branch.

The faculty at both these institutions are equally outstanding. However, Electronics courses fall in the middle of core and software. This is why Electronics students get jobs quite easily in the software domain as well.

The course curriculum for Manufacturing Science and Engineering at IIT KGP has subjects related to manufacturing processes, materials, automation, quality control, and more. 

IIT KGP offers practical learning alongside rich academics to help its students excel in their career. IIT KGP will provide you unparalleled exposure. 

Even though Mechanical Engineering from IIT Bhubaneswar is also a good option, I would recommend you choose Manufacturing Science and Engineering at IIT Kharagpur. 

Both IIT Gwalior with CSE and IIT Bhubaneswar with mechanical are great options for you to pursue but the choice majorly depends on your academic choices, career goals and personal preferences.

• However, according to me, IIT Bhubaneswar is a better choice for you as it is one of the well-recognized academic institutions in India.

If you ask me, I think you should opt for Mechanical at IIT Bhubaneswar rather than choosing ED at IITM. I am saying this not because I am a student of IIT Bhubaneswar but because of the high academic standards the institute maintains.

• IIT Bhubaneswar offers undergraduate full-time courses for four years.
• The average fee for four years is around INR 9 Lakhs.
• IIT Bhubaneswar Mechanical branch has recorded 87% placement for students in 2023 with the highest salary package being INR 21.28 LPA and the average salary package being INR 12.57 LPA.

I can understand that choosing between IIT Bhubaneswar for CSE and IIT Kharagpur for mechanical engineering can be a tough choice. But it depends on your career goals and preferences. I don't have much idea about IIT Kharagpur but I can guide you about IIT Bhubaneswar. Being a student at IIT Bhubaneswar myself I can say that the institution offers excellent academic standards for the students.

• The CSE department offers both undergraduate and postgraduate full-time courses for the students.
• The average fee for a first-year BTech in CSE at IIT Bhubaneswar is around INR 2.32 Lakhs.

I am not sure about Chemical Engineering at IIT Kharagpur but I can vouch for IIt Bhubaneswar, you can opt for any ECE, EE, or Mechanical engineering from IIT Bhubaneswar.

• The Average package for IIT Madras Aerospace Engineering is 21 LPA.
• The Highest package for IIT Madras Aerospace Engineering is 66 LPA.
