Choosing AIIMS Delhi for MBBS is a no-brainer for me. The curriculum not only prepares you to save lives but also dives deep into disease diagnosis and management right from the second year. With classes lasting around 8 hours a day and exams every two and a half months, it’s intense, but the experience is worth it.

Plus, the stipend during internship is around 30,000, which is the highest in the country! The campus life is vibrant, with the biggest med fest, Pulse, and plenty of resources like a well-equipped library. If you’re serious about a medical career, AIIMS is definitely the way to go.

Studying MBBS at AIIMS Delhi is a dream come true! The focus on saving lives and the rigorous curriculum keeps me dedicated. I appreciate that we start our medical internships in the 5th year, learning directly from experienced doctors with access to the latest medical equipment. The stipend of ?30,000 during the internship is a huge plus! The fees are incredibly low, just ?5,856 for everything over 5 years. Plus, the campus is lively and full of events like the Pulse fest and various clubs. With such a strong faculty and resources, I feel well-prepared to become a doctor.

In simple terms, it doesn't really matter if your MBBS is from AIIMS or any other recognized medical college in India. You will have equal opportunities in Indian PG exams, USMLE, and other competitive exams.

Consider MBBS as just an eligibility criterion and a foundation for your further studies. It's all about your approach and how you completed your MBBS. Your self-study and understanding of the subjects are what truly matter. It depends more on the student themselves and much less on the medical college.

Don't waste your valuable time pondering these trivial questions. Focus on what you want to achieve in the future and start working towards that!

This is a question that confuses many candidates!!

The AIIMS exam results are determined by the cumulative percentile from the two slots of the exam. Scoring around 140–145 will likely get you a rank within 36, putting you in the 100% category!! Based on the last three AIIMS exams:

• AIR 13 scored 152
• AIR 19 scored 148
• AIR 36 was around 140

So, scoring above 150 should secure you a seat in AIIMS Delhi. If the exam is slightly tougher, even a score of 136 might be enough to get you in.

However, be careful! Only attempt questions you are confident about, as negative marking is the main reason students miss out on AIIMS Delhi. If you answer 160 correctly but get 30 wrong, you could be out of the race. So, think carefully before submitting your answers!!

I’m currently in my first year of B.Sc (Hons.) Nursing at AIIMS Delhi and let me tell you, it’s been an exciting journey! The faculty here is super supportive, and even with 100 students in class, they manage to clear our doubts effectively. The internship is a major highlight; we get hands-on experience while also earning some money. The total fees are minimal compared to other colleges, which makes it even more appealing. After we graduate, passing the NORCET can land us a nursing officer job in AIIMS with a decent salary. So yes, I think it's totally worth it!

In the B.Sc Nursing program at AIIMS Delhi, we receive CPI instead of an aggregate score. I find this system beneficial because it gives a more comprehensive view of our academic performance over the years. Starting from the second month of our first year, we get to apply our learning practically in the wards, which really helps in preparing us for the NORCET exam after graduation. So, I’d say the CPI is quite a relevant measure of our readiness for the nursing field.
