I would say, SP Jain. If you want to go into Marketing, Operations, and Supply Chain, you should go for it. If you want to go into core marketing, you can go to IMT Ghaziabad.

Both are good schools, but if you just look at the rankings, SPJIMR is in the top 10 in India, while IMT is in the top 40. That’s a huge difference.

SPJIMR gets more companies than IMT Ghaziabad. SPJIMR is also the first when it comes to ranking.

Both XIMB and IMT Ghaziabad are very good colleges but XIMB will be a better choice than IMT Ghaziabad. I know some people from both the institute, so I think I can give you some insight about them.

• XIMB has a better placement record. It also offers a better ROI.
• Although both institutes have their own legacy, the alumni network for XIMB is somewhat better.
• XIMB is also a more reputed tier-1 management institute as compared to IMT. The Xaviers brand name definitely comes with some perks.
• In SBI student loans, XIMB comes in the first list while IMT doesn’t.

Hence, choosing XIMB will be a better choice as it is a very reputed college and the academics and faculty here are very good too. But if you are looking for diversity in your batch then you should choose IMT.

IMT Ghaziabad, in Uttar Pradesh, has strong teaching, industry partnerships, and global exposure. Marketing, Finance, Operations, HR, IT & Analytics, and Business Analytics are offered by the 40-year-old institute. IMT Ghaziabad's average salary is 13-14 lakhs.

For a fresher, I would suggest IMT G.

KJ SIMSR is primarily recognized only in Maharashtra, whereas IMT Ghaziabad has an international reputation with faculty members who have taught at IIMs and international B-Schools. So the latter might provide better opportunities for exposure to a diverse student body and higher-quality faculty.

However, the DCP program at IMT Ghaziabad is expensive, and the quality of internships in Dubai might not be up to par with other international B-Schools. Additionally, the international exposure offered by IMT Dubai might not be of much relevance.

The unsaid truth about business schools in India is that most internships and short-term projects are obtained through personal connections rather than institutional affiliation, so if you have strong connections in the business world, then it won’t matter which program you choose.
