What is the typical day routine like at the IIIT Gwalior?
One of my friends is a student of IIITM Gwalior. According to him, it is a really good college. His typical day at the institute is a mix of happening and mundane. This might require some details which I will be sharing with you. This might give you a basic idea of how a day goes there.
- Getting up early for the class is a must. You would witness almost half of the students from the hostel do this.
- Everyone usually wakes up a few minutes earlier before the class begins and rushes towards their rooms without taking a bath or even having breakfast.
- You would attend classes until their lunch break happens.
- In case you have some work with the labs, you would have to visit them, otherwise, you can go to your room and relax.
- Your evenings will be the time to spend with your friends.
- You can work on your hobbies. Learn Programming from others.
- Participate in various competitive programs which are conducted by AASF.
- You can even explore around the campus.
This was how a typical day goes by at the institute. Studies took place a few days prior to the examination. At times of events (tech, sports) that are conducted on the campus. On the exam days, it is either all of the group studying entirely or nothing at all. The weekends are for exploring and relaxing.

Which should I prefer, IIT Dharwad CSE or IIIT Gwalior CSE?
If you wish to join an IIT, and IIT Dharwad seems to be a confusing option, you can opt for electrical at 2nd gen IITs like Ropar or Bhubaneswar. You can also opt for ECE at IIT Dhanbad. You’ll easily get these options with your rank. Else, you may opt for ECE in IIIT Allahabad. All these options will give you good placements and good peers. You’ll get ample exposure at these campuses.
As for IIT Dharwad vs IIIT Gwalior CSE, the second option is better. However, the scenario may not remain the same in coming years because both the colleges are in their developing stage.
How are the placements at IIITM Gwalior?
in their prefinal year ;ike in 3rd year they are eligible for internships and in fianal year they can sit for placments Top companies like Google , Amazon , DeShaw , VIsa and a lot more came every year for placment highest package is around 65 lakhs evey year and average is 25-30 lpa and lowest around 8-10 lpa
How is the faculty at IIITM Gwalior?
In out IT department there are 20-22 faculty members also college is regularly hiring new faculties There are a lot of propfessor who are very good in teaching as well as other things also , they are very good mentors Almost of the faculty memers are loved by all students In a semester we have 2 exams minors and major exams also 2-3 quizzes also per subject
How is the campus life at IIITM Gwalior?
annual fest are Aroura the cultural fest Sports fest is urja for faculty we have fest like inter iiit also also a lot of IEEE events and fest used to occours every month there is alteast 2-3 events our library is one of largest library in cetral india , it has a lot of books even it is digital we can request ot buy new books every year to college library yes students runs club are uthaan , sgm , aasf .
How are the hostels at IIITM Gwalior?
Hostel Fcilities are good almost all of the time we have wifi lan internet , also electricity is good also the food mess quality is mostly average and below avrage , but here is student run mess commity so we can change the menu regularly there are 3 boys hostels and 1 girls hostel
