IIT Bhubaneshwar and IIT Indore, both of these institutes are good for CSE.
According to the National Institute Ranking Framework (NIRF), IIT Indore is on the 10th rank lies a lot ahead than IIT Bhubaneshwar which is on the 22nd rank.
IIT Bhubaneshwar provides a good CSE program and also has a much better coding culture than the other IITs. The experience gathered by the seniors also adds up a lot to the coding and web development club. The institute offers a good placement rate to its students. In 2019 there was 100% placement from CSE. The average CTC offered was 11.44 LPA. IIT Bhubaneshwar being in a city that is a hub to headquarters of many huge companies like Tata adds up a lot to the institute’s opportunities. The quality of education provided at the institute is also good as the methods of teaching used by the professors are unique and effective.
IIT Indore provides its students with computer science engineering with a fairly good placement rate. Rest, it is always up to a student’s preference for him/her to choose as both of these institutes have their own benefits to offer.
All of the institutions are well-recognized academic institutions in India. However, I think choosing IIT Bhubaneswar is better than going with chemical engineering at IIT BHU or CSE at NIT Rourkela.
