BIMTECH has taken a lot of care with regard to the facilities provided at the hostel. They also added new rules during COVID-19 for the sake of everyone’s safety. Anyone who joins a hostel for the first time has to remain quarantined for two weeks. The food was delivered to the room during those two weeks and once quarantine was over, you had to go to the mess to eat. The room was cleaned and mopped every morning by the worker. For the time being, management has decided to give single rooms, this may or may not change in the coming year.
What is the better option among BIMTECH, Great Lakes Gurgaon, and Welingkar Bangalore for an eBiz course? Also, can you tell honestly how is BimTECH in terms of placement (especially in HR) and ROI?
If I had to choose one of the schools presented here, it would have been BIMTECH. BIMTECH, with its world-class professors and multiple student services, will give you access to the industry. You will learn a lot from your peers and also from the library. So, definitely, BIMTECH is superior to these other two schools.

However, you need to take the cost of the entire program into account. On average the total cost will be around $40,000 (INR 30 lakhs) which includes expenses such as tuition fees, housing, food, and other things.
So either you need to be rich enough to afford this or you must be a good student with good academics so that you can lower your cost through scholarships. In comparison BIMTECH Greater Noida is relatively cheap with good college life, the quality of education is also good and you will get similar levels of opportunity to uncover your skills and talents. Which college should I choose (BIMTECH or Welingkar) for PGDM marketing?
For PGDM Marketing, you should choose BIMTECH. It is consistently ranked among the top B-Schools in the country. Top companies such as Infosys, Accenture, Honda, ICICI Bank, Del Monte, etc. take part in BIMTECH placements. During 2022 placement drive, the average CTC offered was INR 9.38 Lakhs. For the top 50 students, the average CTC offered was INR 12.30 LPA.
What are the pros and cons of joining Bimtech for PGDM?
BIMTECH is a fairly good choice of institute to pursue a PGDM course. As my cousin has just completed his post-graduation from there, I have come up with these pros and cons after brief research and reference:
Pros:
- Faculty: At BIMTECH, you will be taught by really good and experienced professors. You will be laden with thorough knowledge of everything you learn but it all depends on your hard work at the end.
- Infrastructure: The overall infrastructure and facilities are great. You will get air-conditioned classrooms, projectors, good furniture, and other amenities. Hostels are also good, and the mess food is also better than other hostels of different colleges.
- Placements: Coming to campus placements, you can grab good packages with finance companies offering an average salary of 5-7 LPA and marketing companies with up to 12 LPA.
Cons: The only con that my cousin came across is the curriculum which is being followed.
- Although the course taught satisfies the industrial needs but it is a bit outdated with respect to recent advancements and updates.
- Also, the pedagogy is old-fashioned, i.e, whiteboard pedagogy.
- Even the emphasis on Practical knowledge is quite low in this college.
- During an internship, almost all of you will get there but the profiles are not clearly explained, and looks like you are just being pushed in a hurry to give others a chance.
Overall, it is an above-average option to pursue PGDM, there is nothing exceptional about it. If you think you are much capable, then definitely go for other reputed institutes. At the end of the day, what matters the most is your hard work and skills.
Which is good for marketing, BIMTECH or IMT Nagpur?
Among these, IMT Nagpur is better for marketing. It has an outstanding marketing faculty and the placement record is decent as well. During IMT Nagpur placement 2022, the highest CTC, i.e. INR 23.57 LPA was offered by the Marketing sector. Students of Marketing specialization usually receive an average CTC of around INR 7 LPA. The major recruiters are usually from FMCG, BFSI, FMCD, and Manufacturing sectors.
Is BIMTECH a good college for to apply for an MBA?
BIMTECH adapts its curriculum to reflect shifts in industry norms. It has an excellent reputation for placement and offers one of the best placement programs available.
Seniors are quite helpful. The faculty are educated, seasoned, and well-versed in the topics they were covering in class, but the program as a whole could have benefited greatly from the addition of industry insiders.
The girls' dorm is located on campus. BIMTECH has a thriving and exciting campus life, full of GDs, presentations, and other events.
