A few years back my friend made it to KIIT with a 6000 rank. But, now KIIT has increased its student intake and anyone can get a good branch with this rank.

You may not get the seat in the 1st counseling as the closing rank was 5356 this year. But you will surely get through with the 3rd or 4th counseling. You can get a branch to upgrade according to the seats available.

The catch is that the number of seats has increased, reciprocatively the demand for CSE has also increased. Your chance of getting a CSE is good. 

Some of my friends attend the Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) and according to them, with a rank of 18000 in KIIT, you can get any core or other branches except CSE, IT, and ETC. 

KIITEE cut-offs for different branches as per 2021 are below.

The cut-offs vary every year as per the competition but this should give you an idea about the cutoff required. 

UIT RGPV Bhopal has highly experienced faculty members most of them being PhD holders from institutes like IITs and NITs. The institute is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidiyalaya (RGPV).

KIIT Bhubaneswar Deemed to be University is ranked 44 overall and ranked 42 for BTech by NIRF 2020. It has collaborations with 162 national and international institutions. It is approved by AICTE and accredited by NAAC with Grade ‘A’.

• JEE rank is mandatory for BTech admission.

KIIT Bhubaneswar

• Applicants of KIIT Bhubaneswar should have 60% in their 10+2 with PCM.
• Applicants have to give an entrance exam KIITEE.
• This will be followed by a counselling session.
• The final selection will be based on the entrance exam.

According to the placement record KIIT Bhubaneswar is better than UIT RGPV Bhopal, recruiting companies participating at KIIT during their placement program also offered the student a better salary package than UIT RGPV. But finally it depends on the student’s preference of college, it’s location, affordability, faculty, subject relevance and much more.
