YSPUHF has announced the counseling schedule for Doctoral Degree Programmes for the academic session 2024-25. Candidates who secured the required marks in the entrance test, are eligible to attend the first round of counseling on January 15, 2025.
Dr. Yashwant Singh Parmar University of Horticulture & Forestry has released the results for the entrance test conducted on January 5, 2025, for admission to Doctoral Degree Programmes for the academic session 2024-25.
The merit list contains the name of candidates who have secured 50 marks or above for normal seats (45 for SC/ST/PwD) and 35 marks or above for Self-financing seats. Qualified candidates are now invited to attend the first round of counseling for both Normal and Self-financing seats on January 15, 2025.

YSPUHF Admission 2025: Required Documents
Eligible candidates are required to bring the following documents along with self-attested copies:
- 10th Certificate (Date of Birth Proof)
- Graduation Degree Certificate
- Master’s Degree Certificate/Transcript of Academic Record
- Character Certificate from the last attended institute
- HP Domicile Certificate (for Himachal Pradesh candidates applying for normal seats)
- Cover Page of Master's Thesis and Abstract of Thesis
- Supporting certificates for SC/ST/EWS/PwD, NCC/NSS/Sports/Co-curricular achievements, or persons with disabilities (if applicable)
Key Instructions for Candidates
- Payment of a counseling fee of ₹1,000 is mandatory, which can be made via QR code (link attached in Annexure-I).
- Hard copies of the payment receipt must be brought to the counseling venue.
- Submission of all required certificates is essential for eligibility.
- Seats will be allocated based on merit and eligibility as per the university's prospectus.
- Candidates seeking admission under sports or co-curricular quotas must submit their certificates during the first counseling. No certificates for such seats will be entertained in subsequent counseling rounds.
Candidates arriving after the specified reporting time may lose their chance for seat allocation. Only those who mark attendance by 11:00 AM will be allowed to appear before the counseling committee.
