Yenepoya University UG/PG Admission 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Admissions for most undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) programs in Medical, Dental, Ayurveda, and Homoeopathy are centrally regulated through the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET), with candidates required to qualify in NEET-UG for UG courses and NEET-PG for PG courses.

These admissions are conducted following guidelines set by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS). For professional UG courses like MBBS, BDS, and BAMS, candidates must have passed the 10+12 or equivalent examination, qualified in NEET-UG, and met the university's minimum marks.

For professional PG courses such as MD, MS, and MDS, candidates must hold a relevant bachelor's degree, have qualified in NEET-PG, and fulfil the university's minimum requirements.

Admissions to programs not covered by NEET, such as B.Sc. and M.Sc. courses, are based on merit in the qualifying examinations, with candidates needing to have studied the relevant subjects and generally achieving minimum aggregate marks ranging from 45% to 50% for UG courses and 50%$ to 55% for PG courses, depending on the specific program and category.
