West Bengal University of Health Sciences (WBUHS) Opens Admissions for Pharm. D. and M. Pharm. Programs

West Bengal University of Health Sciences (WBUHS) has released the admission regulations for Pharm. D. and M. Pharm. programs, offered at Haldia Institute of Pharmacy. The applications for Pharm. D. and M. Pharm are open till November 11, 2024. The admission will be based on the entrance exam scores, which is scheduled to be held on November 19, 2024.

WBUHS  Pharm. D. and M. Pharm Eligibility Criteria 

The eligibility criteria for admission to Pharm. D. and M. Pharm. programs at WBUHS are as follows:

Eligibility for Pharm.D.

• The candidates should have passed 10+2 in PCM/ PCB with at least 45% marks (40% for reserved category). 
• Those having D.Pharm from PCI-approved institutes are also eligible. 
• The age of the candidates should be more than 17. 

Eligibility for M. Pharm.

• Candidates should have a B.Pharm degree with a minimum aggregate of 55% marks from a PCI-recognized institution. 
• Candidates should have obtained registration with the State Pharmacy Council within a month of admission.
• A B. Pharm. degree with a minimum of 55% marks from a PCI-recognized institution is required. Registration with the State Pharmacy Council is mandatory within a month of admission.

The Pharm. D. and M. Pharm courses of WBUHS are offered at Haldia Institute of Pharmacy. The available seats are as follows:

The admission into Pharm. D. and M. Pharm courses are based on the entrance examination, which will be in an MCQ format for 1 hour 20 minutes. The merit list will be prepared based on the scores of the entrance examination only.
