New Delhi: The West Bengal Council of Higher Education (WBCHSE) has started the registration process for admission to undergraduate courses through the newly launched centralised admission portal, WB CAP 2024. Interested candidates can apply through the official website @wbcap.in till July 7, 2024.

The centralised admission portal was launched by West Bengal Education Minister Bratya Basu. The registration process began on June 24, 2024. The first merit list will be released on July 12, 2024. The centralised admission process will help streamline the admission process in the 400 colleges and 16 universities in the State. In the portal, students can apply to a maximum of 25 undergraduate courses, out of the 7217 courses available in the system.
