VIT Chennai Law Admission 2023 Open; Apply till May 5 & 31

New Delhi: Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), Chennai has opened the application process for BA LLB, BBA LLB and LLM 2023 programmes for the academic session 2023-24. Aspiring candidates can apply for VIT Chennai law programmes in online mode. The deadline to register online for UG and PG programmes is May 5 and May 31, 2023.
The school of law, VIT Chennai offers LLM programmes with three different specialisations - Corporate Law, International Law & Development and Intellectual Property Law. The UG law programme is for 5 years, whereas the duration of the PG programme is 1 year. Candidates seeking admission to the UG and PG Law programmes can submit their applications on or before the deadline.

VIT Chennai Admission to BA-LL.B and BBA-LL.B is offered on the basis of a valid score in LSAT or CLAT or any other entrance exam followed by Group Discussion and Personal Interview.

VIT Chennai Law Admission 2023: Eligibility Criteria

Candidates seeking admission to the VIT Chennai UG and PG Programmes will have to meet the requisite eligibility criteria;

UG: BA LLB & BBA LLB

• Candidates must have passed Higher Secondary Examination conducted by the State/ Central Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with a minimum of 60% overall aggregate. 

PG: LLM

• Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Law from a recognized University with at least 55% marks.
• Open University/ Correspondence mode are not eligible.

VIT Chennai Law Admission 2023: Selection Process

• Admission to VIT Chennai UG and PG programmes will be based on a selection list. 
• The merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks secured in higher secondary school examination, scorecard and the performance in Group Discussion & Personal Interview for UG law courses. 
• Whereas for the PG law course the list will be prepared on the basis of marks secured in UG degree, scorecard and performance in Personal Interview.

Step 1: Go to the official portal of INST @https://chennai.vit.ac.in/.

Step 2: On the homepage, search for the registration window and download the application form.

Step 3: Now, fill in all the details as asked in the application form and upload necessary documents.

Step 4: Preview all the details and submit the Application form.

Step 5: Finally, take print out of the form for all future needs.
