Uttar Pradesh NEET UG 2024: Special Stray Vacancy Round Counseling Guidelines and Merit List Released

The Directorate General of Medical Education and Training, Uttar Pradesh, has issued detailed instructions for the Special Stray Vacancy Round counseling under UP NEET UG 2024. The guidelines outline the process for choice filling and seat allotment for candidates seeking admission to MBBS and BDS courses in private and government medical colleges across the state. Additionally, the UP State Merit List for the Special Stray Vacancy Round has also been published. The choice filling will be open till November 28, 2024, 5 PM.

Key Guidelines for Special Stray Vacancy Round Choice Filling

1. Eligibility for Choice Filling:
   • Only candidates who have registered, paid the required security deposit, and whose documents have been validated through online verification are eligible to participate.
2. Choice Filling and Locking:
   • Candidates must carefully review all relevant details about the colleges they are interested in before filling their choices.
   • It is mandatory to lock the choices after filling them online. Choices that are not locked will not be considered for the seat allotment process.
3. Information on Fee Structure:
   • Aspirants should thoroughly review the government-issued fee structure for private sector medical and dental colleges available on the official websites dgme.up.gov.in and upneet.gov.in.
4. Seat Allocation Details:
   • Options such as Seat Against Cancellation (SAC) will be displayed to candidates during choice filling. SAC seats are virtual vacancies created by merging unallocated reserved seats at the time of allotment.
5. Finality of Choices:
   • Once the choices are locked, no further changes or modifications can be made. The Directorate will not entertain any requests for adjustments after submission.

Special Notes for Candidates

• Candidates must fill choices only for the colleges they are genuinely interested in, as allotment will be based on these preferences.
