UPTAC 2026 BArch Registration Begins at uptac.samarth.edu.in; Check Last Date to Apply

Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) has opened UPTAC 2026 BArch registration. The Uttar Pradesh Technical Admission Counselling window is live at uptac.samarth.edu.in. Eligible candidates can complete the online registration till July 15, 2026.

The counselling covers admissions to the Bachelor of Architecture (BArch) programme. Registration is mandatory for every new BArch aspirant this cycle. Candidates must pay a non-refundable processing charge of Rs 1000.

AKTU conducts UPTAC for admissions across government and private institutions in Uttar Pradesh. BArch seats are filled through NATA 2026 or JEE Main 2026 Paper 2 scores. Registered candidates will later participate in choice filling and seat allotment rounds.

Who Is Eligible for UPTAC 2026 BArch Counselling?

Only candidates meeting the academic and entrance-score criteria can register. AKTU has kept the eligibility bar aligned with national norms for architecture admissions.

• Passed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
• Secured at least 45 percent aggregate marks in the qualifying examination.
• Reserved category (SC/ST) candidates need a minimum of 40 percent marks.
• Valid score in NATA 2026 or JEE Main 2026 Paper 2.
• Indian nationals with Uttar Pradesh domicile receive state quota benefits.

How to Register for UPTAC 2026 BArch Counselling?

The entire process is online. Candidates should keep their NATA or JEE Main Paper 2 details ready before starting.

1. Visit the official portal at uptac.samarth.edu.in.
2. Click on the new registration link on the homepage.
3. Enter basic details and create login credentials.
4. Log in using the generated user ID at the login page.
5. Fill in personal, academic and qualifying exam details.
6. Upload scanned documents in the prescribed format.
7. Pay the Rs 1000 registration fee through net banking, debit card, credit card or UPI.
8. Submit the form and download the confirmation page for records.

Candidates must keep soft copies of key documents ready before uploading. Missing documents can delay verification during allotment rounds.
