What Does the Seat Matrix Contain?

The seat matrix PDF lists every participating college in Uttar Pradesh. It shows the course offered and the total intake per college. It also breaks up seats by category and quota.

Candidates should match their category with the vacancy figures. This helps set realistic preferences during choice filling.

How to Use the Seat Matrix for Choice Filling?

The seat matrix helps candidates rank colleges based on real vacancies. Fill choices in order of genuine preference, not rank alone. Include both aspirational and safer options in your list.

Study college location, course type, and category vacancy before locking. Locked choices cannot be edited within the same round.

Why This Seat Matrix Matters

Uttar Pradesh added two new private medical colleges to its 2026 intake. The state also received 800 additional MBBS seats this cycle. These fresh additions expand the state quota pool available in Round 1.
