UGC Open Online Courses on Arctic and Polar Studies Registration Open @swayam.gov.in, Courses to Commence on July 18

New Delhi: The University Grant Commission (UGC) introduced two new Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) on Arctic and Polar Studies. Registration is open on the official website of SWAYAM @swayam.gov.in till August 31, 2024. The classes will commence on July 18, 2024 and will end on October 31, 2024.

The courses will cover topics like “Understanding the Arctic - Climate and Environmental Protection” and “Polar Science, Arctic Governance, Policy and Law”. The total duration of each program is 15 weeks. There will be a final exam after the completion of these courses which is scheduled for December 14, 2024. 

Already 66 students have enrolled for the Polar Science, Arctic Governance, Policy and Law while 108 students enrolled for Understanding the Arctic - Climate and the Need for Environmental Protection.
