UCEED 2026 Round 4 Seat Allotment Out at uceed.iitb.ac.in; Check Last Date to Accept Seat

The Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IIT Bombay) has released the Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design (UCEED) 2026 Round 4 seat allotment result. Candidates can check their allotment status by logging in to the official UCEED portal at uceed.iitb.ac.in. The Round 4 list covers seven participating institutes that offer the Bachelor of Design (BDes) programme through UCEED.

Allotted candidates must accept the seat, choose between the Freeze and Float options, and pay the seat acceptance fee by June 28, 2026, 6:00 PM. Payment must be completed through the official payment portal at portal.iitb.ac.in/bdesapp. A payment instructions email will be sent to every candidate who has been allotted a seat.

The seat acceptance fee depends on the candidate's category. The fee must be paid online through the official payment portal.

How to Check the UCEED 2026 Round 4 Seat Allotment Result?

1. Visit the official UCEED website at uceed.iitb.ac.in.
2. Click on the candidate login link on the homepage.
3. Enter your UCEED 2026 application number and password.
4. The Round 4 allotment status will appear on the dashboard.
5. Download the allotment details for reference.

How to Accept the Allotted Seat?

Allotted candidates must complete three steps on the candidate portal before the deadline. Missing any step will be treated as rejection of the seat.

1. Accept the allotted seat through the candidate login.
2. Select either the Freeze or the Float option.
3. Pay the seat acceptance fee at portal.iitb.ac.in/bdesapp.

After successful payment, candidates can download the provisional seat allotment letter from the candidate login. This letter is needed during the institute reporting stage.

What Do Freeze and Float Mean?

The Freeze option locks the current seat. The candidate will not be considered in any later round of allotment. The Float option keeps the current seat but allows upgrade to a more preferred choice in future rounds.

Candidates who are not allotted any seat in Round 4 can still check their status through the candidate portal. They remain eligible for the next round of allotment.

Action Plan for Candidates

1. Log in to the candidate portal and check your Round 4 allotment.
2. Read the seat allotment details and confirm your choice.
3. Select Freeze if you are satisfied with the allotted seat.
4. Select Float if you wish to try for an upgrade in Round 5.
5. Keep your debit card, credit card, net banking or UPI ready for fee payment.
6. Complete the payment before June 28, 2026, 6:00 PM.
7. Download the provisional allotment letter after the payment is confirmed.
