UCEED 2026 Round 2 cutoffs are live with category-wise opening and closing ranks for seven IITs and IIITDM Jabalpur. Check your allotment now and pay the acceptance fee by May 27, 2026.
IIT Bombay has released the institute-wise opening and closing category ranks for UCEED 2026 Round 2 seat allotment. Qualified candidates can now log into the BDes portal to check their allotment status and confirm their seats.
The Round 2 seat allotment covers seven participating institutes: IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad, IIT Indore, IIT Roorkee, and IIITDM Jabalpur. A total of 245 seats are available across all categories for the Bachelor of Design (BDes) programme for the academic year 2026-2027.

IIT Bombay remained the most competitive institute with the Open category closing rank at 14. IIT Delhi closed at 28 for the Open category. IIITDM Jabalpur had the highest Open category closing rank at 145. Among newer IITs, IIT Hyderabad saw strong competition with Open ranks closing at 40.
Category-wise cutoffs varied significantly across institutes depending on seat availability and reservation policies. Open category ranks represent All India Rank (AIR). EWS, OBC-NCL, SC, and ST ranks represent respective category ranks. PwD ranks are provided within their respective categories.
IIT Bombay has warned candidates to exercise extreme caution against fraudsters contacting them regarding admissions or payments. All official information is available only on the UCEED website (uceed.iitb.ac.in). Candidates must follow instructions provided only through official channels. Email queries regarding seat status will not be entertained during the counselling process.
What’s Next for Students
Allotted candidates must immediately log into the BDes portal to confirm their seat acceptance and choose between FREEZE and FLOAT options. Payment must be completed before May 27, 2026, 6:00 PM.
After successful payment, candidates can download their provisional seat allotment letter from their login portal. This letter is essential for completing the admission formalities at the respective institute.
