IIT BDes Admissions 2026

If a candidate is allotted a seat but fails to pay the seat acceptance fee or declines the offer, their application will be cancelled, and they will be barred from subsequent rounds.

Two way for the selection process, Freeze: The candidate accepts the seat and exits further rounds. Float: The candidate accepts the seat but wishes to be considered for an institute of higher preference in the next round. If an applicant is allotted their first choice, they must either 'Freeze' or 'Decline.' If they decline, they cannot participate in further rounds.

Candidates who pay the fee in Rounds I and II can withdraw for a refund (after a ₹5,000 deduction) before the Round II withdrawal deadline. However, fees paid during Rounds III, IV, and V are non-refundable. Applicants cannot withdraw or decline a seat after the announcement of the final round.

Candidates are advised to visit the official website at uceed.iitb.ac.in and collegedunia.com for the latest updates.
