The Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TSBIE) has announced that it has not yet issued the admission schedule for the academic year 2024-25, after receiving complaints and news reports highlighting unauthorized admission activities.

New Delhi: The Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TS BIE) has notified the students that the admission schedule for the 2024-25 academic year is not yet released. This statement comes after receiving reports and complaints of unauthorized admissions by some colleges. TSBIE has also advised the students to wait for the official announcement before applying to any junior colleges.

The board has received several complaints regarding pre-admissions and misleading testing processes conducted by certain private junior colleges. TSBIE said that these reports also suggest the participation of PROs in the admission process.

Currently, the Telangana board is conducting the provisional affiliation process for the academic year 2024-25. So, the list of provisionally affiliated junior colleges will be published on TSBIE's official websites: tsbie.cgg.gov.in and acadtsbie.cgg.gov.in, after its successful completion. Therefore, parents are requested to ensure that students enroll for admission only in affiliated colleges.

The Telangana board also instructed the management of private junior colleges to strictly conduct admissions as per the admission schedule announced by the board.

“Any deviation from this schedule is a violation of established norms and will be dealt with seriously. Appropriate actions will be taken as per the applicable provisions. Thus, it is advised to ensure the strict compliance of institutions with the rules and regulations,” TSBIE said.

Moreover, the board has directed the district intermediate education officers to strictly comply with the norms. Earlier, the TSBIE conducted the Telangana Intermediate 1st and 2nd year annual examinations in 2024 from February 28 to March 19, 2024.
