TransStadia University and NCSSR to Host Bharat Sports Science Conclave 2024

New Delhi: The National Centre of Sports Science and Research (NCSSR) and TransStadia University are preparing to jointly organise the Bharat Sports Science Conclave 2024. The one-day event will be held in New Delhi on February 28, 2024.

As per TransStadia University, this Bharat Sports Science Conclave 2024 will integrate sports science into athlete training to improve India's athletic capabilities. The conclave will feature opening addresses from recognized industry and subject matter experts.

Informing about the conclave, Founder of TransStadia University, Udit Sheth said, “TransStadia University has taken a holistic approach to developing the athletic ecosystem through practical training, research, and creative knowledge projects. Sports medicine, high performance, and sports science affect the athlete's life cycle, performance, and longevity. The Bharat Sports Science Conclave (BSSC) helps build partnerships, learn, and share best practices.”

Key Sessions at Bharat Sports Science Conclave 2024

The Bharat Sports Science Conclave 2024 will be guided by the goal of Vision Olympics 2036 and include research lectures, workshops, demonstrations, and other interesting features. The National Anti-Doping Agency (NADA) will also hold a special session at the conclave to raise anti-doping awareness.

In addition to this, it will cover several sessions on the importance of training in load management, the role of metacognition and goal setting, and the impact of data science on athlete development through nutrition and physiology during the event's panel discussions.
