Tezpur University Opens Applications for Ph.D. Admissions (Spring Semester 2025)

Tezpur University has officially declared the start of their Ph.D. admissions process for the Spring Semester 2025. Admission Process

The selection process for admission into the Ph.D. programs will consist of a written examination followed by a personal interview, both of which will be conducted by the respective departments or centers. However, candidates who have already qualified in the following national-level examinations are exempted from appearing in the written test:

• UGC NET-JRF
• UGC-CSIR NET-JRF
• UGC/CSIR NET (LS)
• SLET (LS)
• GATE
• CEED

3. Application Fee: Candidates must pay ₹1000 (₹500 for SC, ST, and PWD categories). Payment can be made online using debit/credit cards or internet banking. 4. Document Submission: During the application procedure, candidates must upload key documents such as educational certificates, proof of identity, and, where applicable, national-level exam qualification certificates.

   • November 22, 2024: The list of applicants eligible for the written test will be published.
   • November 28, 2024: Written tests will be conducted by the respective departments.
   • December 3 & 4, 2024: Personal interviews for shortlisted candidates will take place.
   • December 17, 2024: The final list of selected candidates will be announced.
   • January 17, 2025: Provisional admission and enrollment.
