Tamil Nadu NEET UG 2026 Round 2 counselling registration is open at tnmedicalselection.net till September 8 2026. Choice filling closes September 9 and the seat allotment result will be declared on September 11 2026.

The Directorate of Medical Education (DME) has begun Round 2 registration for Tamil Nadu NEET UG 2026 counselling. The portal is live at tnmedicalselection.net for Tamil Nadu candidates.
The window covers vacant MBBS and BDS seats in government and self-financing medical colleges across the state.
TN NEET UG 2026 Round 2 Important Dates
Candidates must complete all steps within the following schedule.

Who Is Eligible for TN NEET UG Round 2 Counselling?
Only candidates who registered in Round 1 can participate. Fresh registration is not permitted for the second round.
Wait-listed Round 1 candidates can lock fresh choices now. Candidates seeking an upgrade from an allotted seat can also participate.

How to Register for TN NEET UG Round 2 Counselling?
The entire process is conducted online through the official portal. Candidates must use their existing Round 1 login credentials.
- Visit the official website at tnmedicalselection.net.
- Click the Round 2 login link on the homepage.
- Enter the Round 1 user ID and password.
- Review the updated seat matrix for vacancies.
- Fill and rearrange the preferred college and course choices.
- Lock the final choices before the deadline.

TN NEET UG Round 2 Counselling Fee
The counselling processing fee is Rs 500 per candidate. This fee is non-refundable under all circumstances.
SC, SCA and ST candidates are exempted from paying the fee. Payment is accepted through debit card, credit card and net banking.
Tamil Nadu reserves 7.5 percent of MBBS seats for Government School students. Round 2 is often the last shot for these candidates.
