DME Tamil Nadu has released the NEET UG 2026 Round 1 seat allotment result at tnmedicalselection.net. Allotted candidates must download the order and report to their allotted college by September 5, 2026, by 12 noon.

The Directorate of Medical Education and Research (DMER), Tamil Nadu has released the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2026 Round 1 seat allotment result on the official portal at tnmedicalselection.net. The allotment order has been published for MBBS and BDS seats under the state quota. Candidates can download the provisional allotment order from August 27, 2026, onwards.
The window to download the allotment order and report to the allotted college closes on September 5, 2026, at 12:00 noon. Candidates who have been provisionally allotted a seat must physically report to their allocated medical or dental college within this period. Reporting is mandatory to secure admission and complete document verification formalities.

How to Download the TN NEET UG 2026 Round 1 Allotment Order?
Candidates can follow the steps below to check their seat allotment status and download the provisional allotment order from the official portal.
- Visit the official website at tnmedicalselection.net.
- Select the MBBS or BDS option listed under UG Courses.
- Click on the link titled Tamil Nadu NEET UG 2026 Seat Allotment Result.
- Verify the candidate’s name and allotted college in the published list.
- Download the provisional allotment order and take a printout for reporting.

Who Needs to Report to the Allotted College?
All candidates who have been provisionally allotted a seat in Round 1 must report to their allocated college. Reporting is required for both MBBS and BDS seats under the state quota. Candidates who fail to report by the deadline will lose the allotted seat.
Seats surrendered or unclaimed after the reporting window will be released for the next counselling round. Candidates must carry all original documents for verification at the college.
Reporting confirms the seat under the Tamil Nadu state quota. Missing the September 5 deadline forfeits the allotted seat. The vacant seat then moves to Round 2 counselling for reallocation.
