Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering & Technology (SLIET), Longowal, Punjab, has started the admission process for its PhD programmes for the 2025-26 (Even Semester). The last date to apply is January 18, 2026, and the written test will be conducted on January 20, 2026.

How to Apply for SLIET PhD Admission 2025-26
Candidates must email the completed application form, along with all relevant documents and proof of online fee payment, in a single PDF file to phdadmissions@sliet.ac.in before January 18, 2026. Applicants should also inform their name and department on WhatsApp at 9216781838.

Candidates applying for the SLIET PhD Admission 2025 must carefully review the eligibility criteria, application fee details, and NOC requirements before applying.
The application fee is set at ₹2065 for General and Other Category (Male) candidates, ₹1475 for General and Other Category (Female) candidates, and ₹1180 for Reserved Categories (SC/ST/PH). The fee should be paid online as per the institute’s instructions provided in the official notification.
As per the eligibility criteria, candidates must meet the requirements mentioned in the Information Brochure 2025, which includes program-wise academic qualifications and syllabus details for the written test.
Specifically, for Electronics and Communication Engineering, applicants must hold a B.Tech/B.E. and M.Tech/M.E. degree in any engineering branch, in accordance with the institute’s guidelines.
For working professionals applying under the Part-Time or Executive Part-Time categories, it is mandatory to submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their employer.
The NOC must clearly state that the candidate is permitted to pursue studies on a part-time basis, that their official duties allow sufficient time for research, and that they will be relieved from duty if required to complete coursework.
