SJMSOM PhD Entrance Test and Interview 2025 Released for Autumn Semester; Check Now

SJMSOM PhD program in management is structured into two phases: Coursework and Research Work. Candidates from a non-MBA background must complete a minimum of 52 credits, while those with an MBA background are required to complete at least 40 credits. The Entrance Test and Interview for the Autumn Semester 2025-26 is scheduled for May 9, 2025.

SJMSOM Ph.D. Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the Ph.D. program at SJMSOM, candidates must meet at least one of the following criteria:

• Four-year bachelor's Degree in any discipline with 60% marks or a 6.5 CPI (55% marks or a 6.0 CPI for SC/ST) along with a minimum of two years of work experience.
• Master’s Degree in any discipline (MBA, M.Tech., M.S., M.Sc., M.A., M.Com., MCA, LLM, M.Pharm., M.Phil., etc.) or a two-year PG Diploma in Management from institutions/universities recognized under the UGC Act, 1956, AICTE, AIU, or a reputed foreign university, with 60% marks or a 6.5 CPI (55% marks or a 6.0 CPI for SC/ST).
• Executive MBA (minimum one-year duration) from IITs, IIMs, or recognized institutions/universities as per the UGC Act, 1956, AICTE, AIU, or a reputed foreign university, with 60% marks or a 6.5 CPI (55% marks or a 6.0 CPI for SC/ST).
• CA/CS Qualification with 60% marks or a 6.5 CPI (55% marks or a 6.0 CPI for SC/ST) in the preceding degree (B.Sc./B.Com./B.A.).
