SJMSOM IIT Bombay Rleases Schedule For MBA Admission 2026

Shailesh J. Mehta School of Management (SJMSOM), part of IIT Bombay, has released its indicative MBA admission schedule for the 2026–28 batch. The online application window will open on January 1, 2026 at 10:00 AM and close on January 31, 2026 at 5:00 PM through the official portal portal.iitb.ac.in.

The payment window will remain open from January 1 to February 1, 2026, while shortlisted candidates will be invited for offline personal interviews from March 5 to 8, 2026. Dates for the CAT 2025 results, PI shortlist, and the final selection list are still marked as to be decided.

The two-year MBA programme at SJMSOM is open to graduates from any discipline, making it accessible to students from diverse academic backgrounds. To apply, candidates must have a valid CAT 2025 score along with a bachelor’s degree, meeting the minimum marks required for their category.

The selection process is based on a composite score that considers the CAT score, academic performance, and relevant work experience. Based on this score, shortlisted candidates are invited for a personal interview round at the institute.

Applicants will need to prepare and upload (as per size-format guidelines) documents including: passport-size photograph, signature, graduation/marksheet, CAT 2025 scorecard, class X & XII marksheets, caste/EWS/PH/work-experience certificates (if applicable), etc.
