Symbiosis Institute of Technology (SIT) Pune has begun registrations for M.Tech admissions 2026. The last date to apply is September 15, 2026.

Symbiosis Institute of Technology (SIT), Pune, part of Symbiosis International (Deemed University), has invited applications for its M.Tech programs for the 2026 academic session. The institute offers multiple specializations under M.Tech, welcoming both GATE and Non-GATE candidates.
While GATE-qualified applicants can directly appear for the personal interview round, others must attempt the SIT Entrance Test scheduled for March 24, 2026. The admission process will remain open until September 15, 2026.

SIT Pune M.Tech Admission 2026 Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for admission to SIT Pune’s M.Tech programs, candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification with a minimum of 50% marks (or 45% marks for candidates belonging to reserved categories) in the qualifying examination.
For the M.Tech in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning and Automotive Technology programs, a bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline is required with the aforementioned minimum marks.
Applicants seeking admission to the M.Tech in Engineering Design program must possess a bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks (45% for reserved categories) along with a minimum of two years of industry or research experience.
For the M.Tech in Robotics and Automation, candidates should have completed a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent with at least 50% marks (45% for reserved category candidates).
Meanwhile, candidates applying for the M.Tech in Geoinformatics program should be graduates in Engineering (B.E./B.Tech) or hold an M.Sc. in Geoinformatics, Physics, Geology, Environmental Science, Mathematics, or Agriculture with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST).
Students appearing in their final year examinations are also eligible to apply, provided they secure the minimum required marks at the time of admission.
Entrance Examination and Personal Interview
- GATE-qualified candidates are exempt from the entrance test and will be directly called for interviews.
- Non-GATE candidates must appear for an online entrance exam conducted by SIT Pune.
- The exam can be taken using a computer, laptop, or smartphone with internet access.
